Frame Rail Carbonization

Can anyone recommend a resource for doing frame rail carbonization?

I know Tripp used to provide this service but I believe they are no longer offering it.

Thanks!

A buddy of mine does this

carbinzer

I was thinking about doing an old 1911 and seeing how it works. I know it makes it hard as heck form the samples he showed me. You can just do the spots you want done on a part also.

I've got a carbinizer in the shop, it works great when you need a thin hard coating.

Could that Rocklinizer be used to improve a sloppy slide to frame fit? Or to put a layer of tungsten carbide around the end of the barrel to tighten up a loose barrel to slide fit at the muzzle?

It can be used to tighten up the frame to slide, anything more than 3 thousandths I weld up the rails.

I've never done a barrel/bushing but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
