rvoutdoorsman
I'm having a gun dealer checking on the price and availbilty of a S&W M&P Pro 40. I never owned a handgun in 40 S&W and have always been curious about how they shoot. I've asked fellow shooters how they shoot but have been told there is no better experience than owning one and running a case of ammo through it. I remember when the shelves were empty of 9mm & 45acp there was always 40S&W [wal-mart]. I plan on using it for limited class and retiring my Para 45acp. My question is, sre the barrels on the M&P 40S&W supported chambers? Edited June 18, 2011 by rvoutdoorsman
Joe4d
Limited, "division" The supported/ unsupported thing was a concern years ago with early glock 40's maybe a couple other early 40's. It isnt an issue with the M&P, which will happily digest any factory ammo you feed it for a long long time.

rvoutdoorsman
Thanks for the information guys. By the way I am not giving up on the old Para, I've had that gun since 95' and spent way too much money on it. It's part of the family. It's just going to sit on the sidelines while Daddy plays with his new toy.
Gary H.
You'll enjoy it! I gave up my STI for an M&P and I shoot it considerably faster. With the Apex parts, you won't miss the old girl!
