Deciding on a shotgun

You start adding "lights & things" to a benelli, it will not run. They take a little weight but not much because they are recoil orp.

Not sure if you are biased or not but can you give me some pros and cons to the Benelli M2 and the FN SLP?

930, SLP, and M4 are all gas operated.

M4 will run with anything you want to hang off of it. M2 will not.

I just shot my FN SLP in the Iron-Man, it ran 100%. We are probably starting to sound like a broken record, BUT, for HD, a Mossburg or Remington Pump is a good choice. For an autoloading HD shotgun, I think the 930 Mossy or FN SLP would be your best bet. I'd go with an 18" tube as well.

I only picked the M2 because it's recoil operated, and i was hoping that meant i could clean it less frequently than a gas operated shotgun. i also wanted to keep it simple...no pistol grip, no rear sight, and no rail.

i didn't know hanging things off of the M2 would cause issues, so it seems a FN would suit you better.

My HD gun is a 14" SBS M1. It's setup just like my four 3 gun shotguns so I know it will run when needed. Plus I can practice reloads in the corner of my bedroom nightly.

Use a mossberg for HD. you can pick one up used for 300 to 400 dollars maybe for less if you look around some.
