Dawson Marketing
Besides cleaning and degreasing the grip, any other prep before applying the grip tape? Hi Barry, No other prep is needed. After installation, a heating with a hair dryer to help get the most surface area in contact with the grip tape is a good idea, but not necessary. We'll be doing a quick video and posting it on our YouTube channel to illustrate how easy the Dawson Precision-Fit Grip Tape is to install. But mostly cleaning and degreasing the pistol grip is the most important step. -Chet
Dawson Marketing
is the dark blue pretty close to the Factory STI grip blue? How does the grip tape ship out Hi, Yes, the dark blue grip tape is pretty close to the STI grips. It ships out via USPS (unless you need it faster). -Chet
Dawson Marketing
Update: Pistol grips which are texturized beyond the factory pattern have a greatly reduced surface area for the DP Precision-Fit Grip Tape Panels to adhere to. They require a little help to achieve perfect adhesion. And that help can be found in the awesome BSI IC-2000 instant adhesive. IC-2000 is a black, rubberized instant adhesive bonds the DP Precision-Fit Grip Tape panels to your pistol's texturized grip to form a super-durable, unitized bond. IC-2000™ is a rubber-toughened cyanoacrylate that forms superior shock resistant bonds on non-porous surfaces. This black colored adhesive has added flexibility for the bonding of metals, fiberglass, rubber, carbon-fiber and other advanced materials. Setup time is 20-40 seconds, which can be accelerated with BSI INSTA-SET™ glue accelerator. And, of course, when it's time to remove the grip tape (or get your fingers un-stuck) you can use BSI Un-Cure™ for quick, easy removal. -Chet Edited July 13, 2011 by Dawson Marketing spelling

Dawson Marketing
How would these fit on a Para frame??? The grip screw holes on the Para frames are placed a bit differently from the STI grips, but our grip tape panels could be pretty easily modified by the end user to work. -Chet
