sig chaser
Just wondering if my gun will be legal in esp. I have a glock 17 that is currently having the frame textured and I would like to install a vickers mag release and slide stop lever but I don't want to make it so I can't shoot idpa with the weapon. hankfan79
Your good to go. Be sure to have the measurments of that mag release. Im not up to date on that one.
calvary45
Mag release cannot be oversized or protrude out more than .20 from the frame. besides that your good to go. IDPA RuleBook Edited March 21, 2011 by calvary45
Steve Koski
Sounds ESP legal to me.
sig chaser
Don't know the size of the vickers release but it is smaller then the factory option which is legal. I would hope that it is legal but if not ill run the stock option.
Ted Murphy
ESP legal. The stippling and the vickers release is not SSP legal. Ted
Haji
The Vickers release basically splits the difference in length between the Glock stock part and the release from the G34/35. I have the extended Glock release in my G17, and it was too long. I filed it back to about the length of the Vickers. As previously stated, it's ESP legal, but not SSP legal.
