Sarge
I am finally migrating to the new PC with Windows 7 from my old faithful 10 year old Gateway. I can't send emails by clicking on "contact us" or "email" buttons on websites. I get an error message something like the email client is not properly installed or words to that effect. I am using gmail straight up without Outlook. Any SIMPLE instructions on where to start looking? Thanks
The_Vigilante
Kevin, Don't think you can do what you want with a web-based e-mail program like G-mail, Yahoo, etc.IOW you are going to have to install an email client like Outlook, etc Edited March 7, 2011 by The_Vigilante
GrumpyOne
I think you need to make your Gmail account your default email in one of your settings...in the blue pane when you click the start/run/windows icon lower left of the screen, you'll see a default settings listed under the control panel. I think you need to tell it to use the gmail as the default under the windows live email heading. How you do it, I have no idea...
