wmspdi
i run all my single stacks in the 4.5-5lb range, im probably weird I don't think you are weird. I have my range Glocks and 1911s set up the same way. I just don't feel comfortable playing "Run-N-Gun" with hair triggers.
bbbean
My favorite english professor would never tell us how long our papers or essays needed to be. He'd say "a good paper is like a lady's skirt - long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to be interesting." Maybe instead of thinking in terms of absolute measurement, we should think of triggers the same way. The perfect trigger is heavy enough to prevent ADs, but light enough to pull without steering. If you turn green and rip your shirt every time you hear "mike", maybe you need an 8 lb trigger. If you have delicate fingers that require daily moisturizing and regular manicures, maybe the 8 oz trigger is more your style.
Team Amish 1
2 lb by gunsmith, and no recent manicures finger stays off the trigger, sure, but I still like to be able to prep the trigger a bit, so 2 lb is fine. I agree, though, smooth and crisp is better than light and scratchy.
kreativecid
Oh now that is good. By chance did this prof have a scandalous affair with an underclassman while wearing a velvet robe and ascot?
