Iggy42
I saw in the Vendor area some ammo people besides Atlanta one of them being DC Ammo. After checking out his site I see he is offering .40S&W with an OAL of 1.200. This got me to thinking if these might work reliably in a Witness Limited, so I was wondering if anyone here as dealt with them before and what they thought
chefcs5
I have bought from him but I am not shooting a tangfol. I am shooting a glock. He was prompt and the ammo functioned and chronoed as listed. Doug has been shooting in these sports and reloading for various guns/ divisons for a long time he knows the ins and outs. Try a small quantity first and see what you think
G34 CORDY
How is the pricing compared to Atlanta arms?
chefcs5
very similar and DC gives a military/leo discount though
G34 CORDY
How does it shoot accuracy wise and recoil compared to Atlanta arms? I shoot atlanta ammo but never shot DC ammo.
CSEMARTIN
Doug is a top notch guy. And so is his product.
chefcs5
Shooting both through a g17 I noticed no diffrence. in recoil and I would say dougs was just as accurate. I cant knock the Atlanta arms never had an issue with it but I do like dougs a bit better
CJDOUBLETAP
I wouldn't hesitate to try DC, the quality of his ammo is top notch. I'm gonna guess that DC ammo would have a bit lighter recoil than the AA. Give Doug an email, I'm sure he will be able to answer all your questions. Iggy42
This is his stats for .40 competition load Montana Gold bullet with VV powder, small rifle primer, loaded in a once fired Case Pro'ed brass loaded to 1.200 OAL 175PF Think this would work in a Limited with 140mm mags? twodownzero
Anything Doug Carden loads is good to go.
gohuskers
Doug's good people and supports the shooting sports. Buy with confidence.
Iggy42
Nice to see people like his stuff, but my concern is mostly if a 1.200 OAL is enough to not get the feed issues for a Limited with 140mm mags. I think it is, but I wanted to check with the experts here first
