Alaskapopo
I have a 40sw Edge from Dawson. I like it a lot but I would like to have a 9mm barrel fitted to it for three gun outlaw matches. I know I would need new mags and and extractor. Would I also need to swap the ejector out? How much would getting a 9mm barrel fit cost and is it feasible to do this? Thanks Pat
yoshidaex
You'll need a slide too. The breech face between 9 and 40 is different.

Damn I was hoping not like the 9mm conversion barrels for guns like Glocks and Sigs. How about this how much does a 9mm top end cost for a 2011 these days? Joe4d
alot more than a whole bunch of .40 bullets.
Alaskapopo
alot more than a whole bunch of .40 bullets. Your right. I was just thinking a 9mm would be nice in outlaw three gun because of the extra rounds. Pat
hdgun
I have a few guns that I just swap out the barrel from 40 to 9mm with no other changes except extractor. The dimensions on the breech face from 40 to 9 are very close.
benny hill
9mm is .395 and 40 is .428. I have used it but with that much jump & extractor movement I found it is not 100% reliable.
