Alfie
I'm finally making the switch from TG to N320 and I haven't had any luck finding a base line to start from. Can anyone give me some advise? I'm loading to Minor PF, preferably to 133 or so and I'm using 180 gr. PD FNP's. Anyone willing to share powder charge and/or thier experience? Thanks in advance! Duke Nukem
3.2 grains of N320 with a 180 grain lead gave me 130 PF out of a XDM. OAL was 1.125 to 1.13 I'm finally making the switch from TG to N320 and I haven't had any luck finding a base line to start from. Can anyone give me some advise? Alfie
I also appreciate the info. Be careful of that data. I found it to be WAY light. In my pistol I'll need 3.8 to 4.0 gr of powder.

What was your minor load using TG? I'm currently using 3.6 grains of TG under a Berry 165 grain plated bullet and 1.300" OAL (Winchester once-fired brass and CCI #500 small pistol primers). This functions reliably in my STI Tactical 5.0 with a 12# recoil spring.

I consistently run 133 pf at 1.130"
spencerhut
Tried 3.5 and 3.7 of N320 today and they were 130PF and 138PF respectively out of my Tac Sport with a 180g MGB, Wolf Primer, 1.130 OAL & Win Brass Edited December 13, 2010 by spencerhut
DougCarden
Alfie, another minor load would be 3.0-3.3gr CLAYS with the 180, loaded to 1.130. It is a cheaper alternative to the wonderful 320....you can save it for your major loads..... DougC

I'm going to load some of these up as well to run over a chrono. Mine will be shot through a M&P Pro. I have some 4.0g loaded up now to test as well. Just as a point of ref: In my 4" XD I have to load at least 4.2 gr of N320 with 180gr BBI's to get decent accuracy at 15+ yards.
