EricW
Are most people aware that there are TWO aerosol products that Hornady markets as One Shot? One's a case lube, the other's gun lube. I was totally unaware of this on the way out of the store the other day. I saw a can with "One Shot" on it and just took it to the register. Fortunately I caught it before I left the parking lot. The Wrong Stuff ........The Right Stuff I wonder how many people are inadvertently using the gun lube on their cases.
Ken
In my haste at the store recently, I mistakenly bought the gun lube. Haven't used it on cases, though.
MoNsTeR
Are they even different stuff? I've been suspicious that they're the same.
g56
I wasn't aware of that! I recently bought some, by luck I got the right one, thank goodness!
EricW
It's some pretty lousy marketing on Hornady's part. A while back some people were complaining that Hornady had reformulated their product. It makes me wonder.
ErikW
The "reformulation" in question might be the One Shot case lube in a pump bottle. I knew there was One Shot gun lube and case lube. One Shot is kind of a sub-brand of Hornady.
Bronco
I've been using both products for quite some time and both are good at their intended purpose. I really like the one shot gun lube for my Glock mags. and mag. well, makes the mags. drop free a lot better. Have seen some people spray down their loaded ammo, aids feeding. Duane Thomas
Have seen some people spray down their loaded ammo, aids feeding. Jeez. It can also be great at creating dud rounds. Many of the Teflon based lubes we use today are very penetrative of a primer's lacquer seal.
tyro
How does the One Shot Case Lube in the pump bottle compare to the aresol spray can. Is one any better than the other?
