Kevin G.
I loaded some 124gr MG hp over 6.2 grains of Power Pistol just to see what they felt like. To my surprise they were making 155pf out of my M&P Pro and showed absolutely no signs of pressure. The recoil was surprisingly manageable. Before i start playing with this powder too much I wanted to see if anyone knew of issues with loading it down closer to 130-135 pf using MGs or even a cast bullet? Does it get too inconsistent at lower velocities? Bring on the wisdom because there has to be a reason it's not being done. This load felt great compared to the 135 pf TiteGroup load I was also shooting that day.
DWFAN
Most people will think the Titegroup load is softer. PP should work down to those velocities. according to the spreadsheet I have 5.2 SHOULD be around 130pf in most guns, up to 5.8 at 138pf.. Standard disclaimer, work up(down) over chrono watching for issues and be careful.
Yardbird
Hornady lists a max load of 5.7gr for 1100fps. They also list it all the way down to 4.3gr for 900fps. You most likely wouldn't get pressure signs from PP till you were up in the 180+ PF range.
GrumpyOne
Ive been told (or read somewhere) that Power Pistol doesn't like to be loaded down too much. But, I say try it and see. I have used many lbs of PP in 40,38spl/357, and 45ACP full power loads and love the stuff cause it meters so well and is very consistent.

GForceLizard
I have loaded 124gr Montana Gold JHP with 5.3gr Power Pistol 1.125 OAL and get 132PF. There are better powders for competition. I like Solo 1000 for 9mm. You might want to try Titegroup, it's very popular.
