High Lord Gomer
I have already gotten 3 calls this morning asking for "Tom". On the third one I asked who it was and why they were calling. It turned out that they were a "payday lending" place and that someone named Tom had put down my cell phone number. I asked her if he was also using my address and he was! I asked if he was using the first three digits of my SSN and she said it was something different. Any suggestions on what I should do to make sure he doesn't incur credit in my name? XD Niner
Yes, that is absolutely the best thing to do in a situation like this. The consequences of not acting fast when something like this happens can be really tough to correct later.
