RickyH
When do you change all the spring in the gun? every year or just when you have problems?
Fireant
I change them in the main gun I shoot every January. New recoil, mag, and main spring. Cheap insurance since with my luck they would go bad at a big match.
RickyH
what about the firing pin spring?
Fireant
Never needed to change it, but wolf recoil springs come with a new one just in case you want to.
Seth
I just did a 25k round tune up. New recoil spring and FP spring. I also replaced the guide rod as the head was starting to look pretty beat up. I didn't replace the main spring...

G-ManBart
Depends on how much you shoot and dry fire. Recoil springs I replace once a year. Mainspring and firing pin spring every couple of years for most guns, and lesser used guns, hardly ever. My oldest competition gun has way over 100K through it and I may have changed the mainspring and firing pin spring once. Honestly, I probably only changed the recoil spring maybe three times because I was broke back then! Sear springs I don't plan on replacing at any specific interval. fastarget
G-man, are you still prefering sprinco, if so what is a good source?
G-ManBart
G-man, are you still prefering sprinco, if so what is a good source? Yeah, I switched my guns to them earlier this season, and it's worked out well. I still have to do some more testing with the spring rate tester, but I don't have any reason to doubt their claims, or what Dave Re found when he looked into them (why I decided to try them). I've bought them direct from Springco...not sure if anyone else even sells them. R, Edited August 15, 2010 by G-ManBart
