I just did a 25k round tune up. New recoil spring and FP spring. I also replaced the guide rod as the head was starting to look pretty beat up.

I didn't replace the main spring...

Depends on how much you shoot and dry fire. Recoil springs I replace once a year. Mainspring and firing pin spring every couple of years for most guns, and lesser used guns, hardly ever. My oldest competition gun has way over 100K through it and I may have changed the mainspring and firing pin spring once. Honestly, I probably only changed the recoil spring maybe three times because I was broke back then! Sear springs I don't plan on replacing at any specific interval. R,

G-man, are you still prefering sprinco, if so what is a good source?

Yeah, I switched my guns to them earlier this season, and it's worked out well. I still have to do some more testing with the spring rate tester, but I don't have any reason to doubt their claims, or what Dave Re found when he looked into them (why I decided to try them). I've bought them direct from Springco...not sure if anyone else even sells them. R,
