sschultz
Can a AR smith lighten a carrier. I do think I am going to get a Fulton upper with the slick side and side charger. It comes with a carrier and bolt. Schultz

sschultz
On the Jp bolts it looks like they remove metal from a portion of the rear of the carrier. I'am assuming a good smith would know how much metal to remove. Schultz
bigbrowndog
don't assume anything!!!! the simplist cuts are at 12 and 6oclock just carry the cuts back to where a normal AR carrier is cut, this will give improvement and retain plenty of safety. trapr

B_Ayers
You could send it to Benny Hill in Corpus Christi,TX, He just finished a new upper for my DPMS .308, cut and turn an new barrel, lightened carrier, lightened buffer, gas block, New carbon fiber handguard, one of his rolling thunder comps. I sent him most of the parts and he finished it for me.... He is under Triangle Shooting Sports in the dealer section.
