JWard79
Planning on using my XDM9 in the US IPSC nationals & wondered if anyone has a prefered power factor (124/147) that works well with stock components. IPSC production rule allow for very little modifications, springs being one. Have only fired about 400 rounds through this pistol & have not had time to develop a load yet. IPSC production minimum power factor is the same as USPSA (125), but would like to know if anyone has found a load that minimizes recoil on stock components without making the gun run slow. waynes_world_45
not sure on an XDM. but a 5" XD with 147gr and 3.4 of titegroup is a nice load
jasmap
In my XDm 9mm I run 4.3 grains of N320 under a 124 grain Montana Gold JHP using WSP primers and mostly Speer brass. I have changed out the guide rod and I use uncut 15lb 1911 springs. This load made 134 PF at the 2009 USPSA Nationals and made 133 PF at Area II last year. I like the feel and I never have to worry about making PF.
drysideshooter
I've been happy with 124gr MG FMJ's over 4.7gr WSF loaded to 1.154", using mostly WIN or FC brass and CCI small pistol primers. Consistently makes 132PF and is clean burning, light recoil.
