Winchester Auto Comp Powder

I need a starting (major) load using Winchester Auto Comp in a .38 Super with a 124 grain bullet.

what is your comp size and are there any poppleholes?

I use 7.8-7.9 behind a 121 MG. makes 169 with 3 poppleholes and a three hole comp.

7.2gr at 1.18 OAL gets me 171PF

That's an interesting one.

I suppose muzzle flip is very little and the comp works very nicely with all that gas.

Does that light, fast bullet take a toll on the barrel?

What # spring do you use?
