Model19
Been analyzing my grip and draw lately and have come to the conclusion that I might need grips that put my hand a bit further back from the trigger. Who makes a grip that covers the backstrap of the 19 square butt?? I got big hands and long fingers and have a hard time getting on the trigger from the safe extended finger position. atlscrog
You could try one of these: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=54437&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=46303&training= I tried one out for a while and liked it, but determined I prefer a slightly smaller grip. adweisbe
I really like the Pachmayr Gripper grips with the finger grooves sanded off.
Model19
I forgot I have an OLD set of Pachmayr's, Presentations I think. I put them on today and it did help quite a bit. They seem smallish compared to the finger grooved versions I have on a round butt 3" I keep bedside. So I'll practice a bit with them and get the grooved version if I decide I like that better.
