  1. I believe the new rule will state that the match begins when the person helping to run the match arrives at the range and the match will officially end when the last match personel leave the range. Bubba
  2. Happy B-day KK00.See you in a couple of months. Bubba
  3. The Holiday Inn/Parkside is 2 blocks south of Broadway.Broadway is the main east/west street through Missoula. It is also the road that takes you almost to the range. You would leave the motel,go 2 blocks to Broadway, turn right (east) stay on Broadway, which will take you under the interstate and thriugh East Missoula.Once through East Missoula, you will go down a hill(brickyard hill).Turn right at the first street at the bottom of the hill(Speedway Drive).Go 1/4 mile and turn left at the first road(Deer Creek Road).Cross the river and go by the new, exclusive golf course and continue on for 2 miles.Take the first right after you cross the railroad tracks(you'll see the range sign). So far you've travelled about 5 miles and you should take 15 minutes max if you drive like an old grandma. On the way to the range, you'll drive by all the popular fast food places, plenty of convienience stores, gas stations, grocery stores and sports bars.(the best eateries and bars are on a need to know basis). The week you people are here the sun will be up about 6:00 AM and go down about 10:30 PM.It makes for nice, long summer days.We might even get 9 holes in after shooting and before dark. The lows should be in the 40's and the highs in the 90's.at about 4:00 PM every night,we get what are known as the hellgate winds. They last about 2 hours and can be 20 mph's.Plan on them if you are shooting during these times. No sales tax and you can pump your own gas.(that last one was for our Oregon friends). If you need any other questions answered, just ask.I'm always willing to help.See you all soon. Bubba
  4. That's all L'roy needs, something else to put in that "big" tank!!!!!!!
  5. CZ75b standard fullsize and a fullsize steel WITNESS .40.
  6. This may be off topic, but I have a question. You people are all talking about the upper end,big dollar pistols.I just want to buy a regular Witness in 40 S & W.I would like someone to tell me the advantages (other than price) that the Witness has over a CZ75. Thank
  7. You can fly Delta through Salt Lake,United through Denver,Northwest through Minneapolis or Alaska through Seattle.Or drive and bring all your guns!!!!!!!!!
  8. I just passed 70K on my 550 and other than a tired arm,I have no complaints.
  9. When Troy was in town last time,I heard they were trying to get the Hilton. The last I saw on another thread on the forum, he mentioned the Holiday Inn/Parkside.The Holiday Inn is beautiful down by the river, but it sucks getting in and out of.Also,a lot farther away from good eateries & breweries. The Hilton has everything you want around it and easy access to the interstate and the range.I guess it will boil down to a price issue with Troy and the hotels. When the pick it,I'll give you the info on what to expect. Bubba
  10. Send me an address and I'll send you some mag holders. We all started somewhere.
  11. Any of you guys (gals) who want to eat, drink or play well, just get ahold of old Bubba. He'll make sure you get treated right.I'll be working one of the stages,so I'll get to meet you all at some point. Bubback
  12. You can fly Northwest through Minneapolis,United through Denver or Delta through Salt Lake City.If you book now,it's about $450.Choose Delta. You have more options. Bubba
  13. There is also jet service from Salt Lake City & Minneapolis several times per day and plenty of flights from the coast daily. We actually have running water & 'legtricity, also.I hope to see you all here.I'll have a beer & steak waitin'. Bubba
  14. All my reloading is done in 20 to 30 degree temps. throughout the winter.Never had a problem. The best thing is it's to cold for the wife and kids to come outside to get you,so I get some theraputic, peaceful reloading time.
  15. Get bullets and primers for Christmas.Fire up the stove Jan 1st,get the loading shack up to temp (about 25 degree's) and load until the first match in March.Stop when you ain't got no mo' stuff.
  16. Well Dawg,I agree and disagree. We need more divisions to attract more shooters, but we also need to recruit far,far better. The old grumpy bags o' crap need to shut up so we can attract some younger shooters. We also need to change senior to 60-70 and super senior to 71 and up.
  17. Well,I don't care what Jim says, here are some non-topic facts. We just had a Rolling Stones concert in Missoula with 20K plus people at the concert. They all drove and flew here without any issues. We have 1620 available motel/hotel rooms in Missoula;most nice, some crappy. If you drive like Bruce Gary, the range is 10 minutes. If you drive like your in Montana,it's 5 minutes. There are 2 breweries in town. One has a tasting room with FREE beer, the other has big glasses of inexpensive beer.We have 2 strip joints for those that are interested. One is very nice, the other is very not nice.We have more places to get a good steak here than in Tulsa.I've been the many times,I know. And jim, unlike the Peoples Republic of New Jersey,we like guns here,we let you carry them in the open everywhere and concealed most places. The airport lands BIG planes all day and is 1/2 mile from the brewery for those of you that are real thirsty.Well Jim,there's your personal invitation.C'mon out.I'll even drive you around so you don't get lost in the wide open spaces. Bubba
  18. MV toured the range in Missoula this summer for 2 days.He semed to approve of our facility. Not up to USSA standards, but we do a good job.Let's hope Nats is not in June as that is the rainiest month of the year in Missoula. Bubba
