Sounds like you might? not have matching threads ie. 32tpi or 28tpi The comp may have a different thread to your barrel ???? Please check ? Best Regards.

I have a G17 Open Glock with all the "goodies" on it, as well as my "experimental" C-More RTS2 I don't have any Zev stuff on it, but lots of hot-up parts like your gun. I've been using Federal Small Pistol primers in my 2x G34s as well as the above unit, for as far back as 6 years and never had a light strike. Errrr maybe 3 light strikes ?. I must be blessed !! Load-up a batch of ammo with Federal s/p primers and see how you go. BTW, I have 2x S&Ws (a 586 and a 686 with trigger jobs) and have been using Federal s/p primers in them for yonks-- and they always go bang. My motto is "Go light- Go Federal" I hope you sort it out.

I have an RTS2 mounted on the slide of my G17 9mm OpenMajor . Power factor of 165. Round count is approx 400 and going fine so far. Any Red Dot Sight mounted on a slide is really being tested. I still have my STS that has been great for about 4 years and it was slide mounted on the same gun. I just hope the RTS2 lasts as long. I will keep this forum posted on progress. Best Regards.

Instead of me writing an explanation why don't you go to doublealpha.biz , find this new holster and read how it works. Also,Saul Kirsch explains how this new magnetic holster works in his video. Youtube has some good videos as well.The holsters are available from Shooters Connection and SSI.as well as doublealpha.biz.

Just go slowly, try, and then file a bit more , try again etc and you should get a perfect fit. Every Glock trigger guard is different or most anyway. I recently upgraded to a DAA Magnetic Holster for my Open Glock 17.You will probably have to do some filing on it also. I felt that the Insert Block on my Original Race Master was not resetting the way it is supposed to. My G17 almost fell out on several occasions and fell out only once The new Magnetic version should solve my problem. I've done some range testing but I haven't tested it in a match yet. I was happy with the range tests that I did. I've read where Tanfo,Siggs (and probably Glock) shooters will benefit from the new Magnetic holster or replacement magnetic insert.

IPSC Shooter here: All I can say is -- I've got 2 x Standard/Limited G34s and an Open G17 , All with 11 pound springs, tungsten guide rods etc etc and I run them "wet" (plenty of lube and cleaned almost straight after I shoot them) and been shooting them between 3 to 5 years and NO problems !! I bought a set of nickel/chrome plated pins for next time my locking block (or other pins) works out.Coupla thou thicker. Currently have nail lacquer on both ends of the pin. OK so far !

Second Post today ??? I have a C-More STS on my Open Glock 17 and on 2 or 3 occasions I've had to re-zero the sight- was shooting to left(if I remember correctly) A week back it happened again!!! On close inspection/checking, I found that one of the 2 locking screws/bolts was a teeny bit loose.I had blue loctited it originally, so I "redid" both bolts with blue loctite, went to range and re-zeroed. Have not shot a match since to give it a real test.9mm Open Glocks are a real test of Loctited screws. Just my experience!! Best Regards.

My first post!?Well...not quite. I\'m an IPSC shooter. I have 2x Glock 34s(Limited/Standard) and a Glock 17 (Open-comped) Each of my Glocks have the same set-up. IE.Lightning Strike lightweight firing pin w/4lb Wolff spring, 11lb ISMI Recoil Spring,6lb Wolff Trigger Spring,Lightning Strike Ti Firing Pin Safety w/lightweight Wolff Spring and the usual 25cent Trigger Job(incl polished Extractor Depressor Plunger) J.P Enterprises Mag Button and a T.H.E. Extended Tungsten Guide Rod in both 34s and a Glockmeister Captured Tungsten Guide Rod in the Glock 17.Polished feed-ramp on barrels,LWD,KKM and Storm Lake. ANNNDDDD-I\'ve never had any problems with either of them for the last three years. I believe it\'s the correct combination of parts and mods. My loads for the 34s and 17 are obviously different.
