Looking for suggestions on .22 complete upper for my AR. I looked at a few but I am not sure what I am looking for.

From what I am hearing the bottom line is not how flat, it’s the reliability of 230 RN that people like?

Is the difference in speed only due to the size of the mag well?

I have never had a chance to shoot 230RN that have been loaded down to power factor. The 200 swc’s average 175+ and they are definitely liter then factory 230. And I do like push more then snap. And I do love that nice round hole that on more then one occasion helped me to to brake that perf. Line

I am about to purchase a large quantity of bullets and trying to decide what to get. I have been using 200 SWC and now thinking that 230 would shoot flatter in the same power factor is this correct or am I just losing my mind. thanks Vlad.

they are for sale in connectucut shops for 420-430 I tried one today Accuracy B+ Point ability A- Ergonomics A Recoil A Price A Trigger NFG If a trigger job is possible and reliability reports start coming positive I just may purchase My first Ruger . I am not sure about my reservations of the company. Mr. Ruger is dead and this mag holds more then he suggested for the rifle. it would be a nice SSP gun

I posted exact same question 1 ½ years ago and thanks to Kellyn I have used my FAL from DSA at 3 matches and I am sure that I made good decision Fal is defiantly the way to go. It is defiantly a different platform than AR you need to make sure you like it and it works for you.. I am not a great shooter and was able to hit 9in plates at 290 at the STI match without a problems. As far as AR what aver you get make sure you get Benny’s brake and while you their just have him build the entire gun.

You are probably correct. But two things one I want to stay with 1911 platform and two I am not looking for a 40. I am looking for .45

This is not caliber decision. In time I will also get a .40. I do not shoot 40 or limited. SS and production only. I just want Hi-cap .45.for 3gun. HM division. Well, 45 STI's aren't as common, but when they do pop up they are almost invariably cheaper because they really are L-10 / HM-only pistols. I've seen them in the $1200 range. No way I'd mess with a Para for the couple extra bucks the STI costs. Just stalk the ads & wait. Or let Merlin do it for you. Stupid question what is the deferens between STI and SVI frames ie. Smaller, wider, rounder ? etc.

I need to add up my costs. What parts are suggested to be changed and added to a Para to make it reliable and accurate? I know that I want F/O sights and large mag well. What else? PS I really do not care about looks I actually love sleepers (does not look like it but wow it sure does work)

:I need of some help deciding on what to do. I have been wanting a double stack .45. I found an older PARA with Caspian slide that I can get for about $ 450. Than take it to a gunsmith and have it re done for Apx.. Additional $700. Or should I just wait and perches an S-I when I can afford one. Pro and con would me nice Thanks Vlad

The press is a Dillon 1050 At the moment mostly .45 IDPA and 3 gun A friend of mine was loading Berry’s 200g. SWC for me and I had 0 problems, to be honest I have not had any problems with any ammo Vladimir
