  1. I live in my work boots so I am comfirtible in boots. and the 8in does help my ankle. thanks for the info
  2. Good day folks, I did the search but they get pretty broad. I am deciding on a boot. I need 8 in for ankle support (to many years of soccer ). The following are my choices: Converse desert tac http://www.lapolicegear.com/codetabo.html 511 http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-tactical-x...l-cb-boots.html BlackHawk! Warrior http://www.lapolicegear.com/blwaweblopsb.html Oakley boots http://oakley.com/pd/4299 I am hoping that some of you tried at list one of them. Thanks for the input.
  3. Does any one make A galil type stock for saiga 12 or something that would be considered as a thumb hole stock? Not pistol grip.
  4. Thanks to all. as usual good info. Thanks Vlad
  5. The PolyChoke without porting does not extend the barrel by much - maybe 2" . Personally, I do not worry about my magazine tube extending beyond the end of the barrel... actually, it helps protect the muzzle from being damaged or plugged by dirt if you stumble. Mine hangs way out there: is that poly choke 1 or 2
  6. Do you know how far this extends past the end of barrel? Vlad
  7. I did do the search and got this also. very cool product but it is ported. TITAN ADJUSTABLE CHOKE TUBE The ultimate “screw-in” choke tube for waterfowl, wing & clay. Allows you to quickly change settings without tools—simply turn the collar and click into position. Choke settings are laser engraved. Patterns from cylinder to extra full. Accepts all waterfowl loads, including steel and Hevi•Shot. [uPorted ]Patented Technology Endorsed by Ducks Unlimited. but very cool video Vlad
  8. I am tying to figure away to extend a 18.5in barrel so it is not shorter the 8+1 tube. Are adjustable chokes legal for 3-gun? They look to be correct length.
  9. This may sound funny but the best prop I know is a van the last match we used it as a helicopter slide door open that activates swingers engage targets from a sling just like the real thing. Vlad
  10. Thanks for all the faith in a fellow shooter. You all are probably correct. I could do the work my self but a few roadblocks, I work tremendous amount of time 60-80hr. a week. If I have time to do something fun out side my kids and sexy wife I am at the range shooting what I already have. I also truly have no place to do it until I finish my work area in the basement. Please do not yell at me but I actually have a D 1050 that I have not used because I have not finished my workbench. And no no no I do not want to sell it. Thanks again but I will need to find a good smith to do the job. Vlad
  11. Thanks to both of you but I do not want to wait to 09 that even sounds wrong. it should not be that way. I wish Benny Hill would do this work. PS if any one that does mod,s is reading this please contact me. Thanks
  12. Ok so know I have one . And know I have questions. 1st who offers mod’s for Saiga that are good and I do not need to wait ½ year – 1 year or more. 2nd who has 10rnd. mags this should be fun. Vladimir
  13. I am all set on metal just paper fpr now
  14. I am not sure if this is correct place for this question but does any one know who sells small rifle targets for a 3gun match. Thanks
  15. I appropriated a good portion of my basement as the gun room. I need ideas for an ultimate bench mostly for reloading and tinkering Pic. would be a plus. I am going to end up with 20 x 20 space. Thanks Vlad
  16. I looked and I could not find anything about in the rule book. I want to install a mag release on the R. side is this legal. And if it is not please let me know on what page you found it Thanks. Vlad
  17. Is their such an animal? A friend (L. hander) rely likes my 1911 but is wondering if there is a way to relocate mag release. I did not have an answer does any one?
  18. Two reasons 1st yes I could use 10 round mags. I even have an extra 1911 that I was planing on using specifically for 3 gun IE tech wear magwell, tripp mags set in of 5 in 10round and 8round with extended pads (depending on the match some do not allow 10 round) extended mag-release. The only problem is that all that will cost same if not more then the a new M&P. That brings me to the second reason an excuse to get a new gun. But I have not decided and may just stay with 1911
  19. Okay does any one have both M&P in .45 and XD in .45 and can give me a good criticism on both. I am considering them for 3gun heavy metal. I normally use SS 1911 but for the matches that will let you use 10rd. I need something else. Thanks
  20. Then how can PARA fit 18 in the same size mag? Or am I being misled? I have to explain I am looking at a nice para. I have limited knowledge on double stacks and specially Para's. I would like to purchase it but for me this would be a good size investment and I just want to make sure I understand what I am doing.
  21. Then how can PARA fit 18 in the same size mag? Or am I being misled?
  22. What is the max capacity of 140mm mag. in .45. I know standard fits 14 is it possible to fit more and still be legal for USPSA

    Glock grip mods?

The moderator just took it off when I asked them to withdraw it, sorry. It feels very much like an XD. Good comparison in fact. now that sounds good. I love my XD 9mm grip, now I know what to expect Thanks Vlad
