  1. Just hold the Shell release button and rack the bolt. If you find something simpler let me know I"m in the same boat.

See you at the Robert Libke match hopefully.

this method can and will pound the p!ss out of your shell latch. Not to mention the safety issue of chambering every round you want to unload.

If you just load four shells and unload, its not too bad, but dont make it a habit to through `12 rdss in your tube and just cycle it empty

    imo, fyi.

  2. Contrary to what has been posted, a well designed bushing comp like the Wilson Combat Multi-Comp reduces muzzle rise for a wide range of calibers. Empirical test data is presented at the link below. They are not as effective as a traditional compensator, but they work.

if accuracy wasnt tested, then that article is nothing more than an ad to pay for Bills next safari

  3. Is there a thread in this sub-forum that lists all the places you can send a shotgun for 3 Gun work, and / or buy a ready made 3 Gun shotgun? If so, I couldn't find it. List them if you know a place, these are the ones I know of -

    Pendergraft Gun Works

    Triangle Shooting Sports

    C-Rums

    Accurate Iron

    Wheaton Arms

    Taran Tactical

you should make that list either in alphabetical order or in order of quality of the work.

    actually, it doesnt matter.

  4. I have what appears to be a Rem QC issue with my new 3gun VM. One of the cylinders that houses the pistons on the gas block appears to have machined improperly and will not let the piston move within the cylinder. Naturally in my one and only range trip before discovering this, the gun wouldn't cycle to save it's life. I sent it back to Remington for repair so we'll see. I guess I've been lucky but this was my first time ever having an issue with a gun out of the box.

I have had to hone cylinders, Ill bet it wasnt the piston. I also have specs on that, if anyone needs em
