  1. "Right" handed guns were MADE for Leftys! I would not spend the money on lefty guns. Seen too many problems with them, even in the hands of rightys. Get the safety and mag release ambi, and you are gpod to go!

    jj

truer words have never been spoken.

  2. Ive done a few M&Ps before and am going to be jumping into my M2 soon. Just looking for a few ideas before I get started. I really like the pattern that Accurate Iron uses (scalloped I think its called) but I dont have a tip for my burner that could duplicate it. What you got!

the M2 stock is softer than the fore end. Start on the forend first. Good Luck!

  3. I wear a jersey, and it has a bunch of logos on it. I don't use products from all of the companies on my shirt. I am a part of a shooting community (boomershooter.com). Those companies help out the community by sponsoring the forum and other activities. We as members buy a jersey and wear it to local and major matches. The leaders of the community put on contests and contingency programs where we have a chance to win stuff from the sponsors for wearing our jerseys. Last year I won a contest for wearing my jersey to the most local/major matches. My prize was a steel target set (2 plates, 1 US popper) from Range Master Rowdy in OKC.

I dont consider myself sponsored because I wear a jersey. I am just part of a community of shooters. I think its awesome and I have fun shooting with the guys from boomershooter.com and talking to them on the forums.

By the way. I see my logo on your shirt. I appreciate you.

We need to squad up more, you were a blast at TX limited.

  4. For the Match planners. Last years polo shirt was of "okay" quality. Is the same thing planned for this year? Or, is it planned to do a small embroidery instead of the screen printing. I expect screen printing on t-shirts, not polos. Please advise soon so I can mail my application & check.

I am also interested in this. If it is a similar quality as last years polo I will keep my $28.

I was planning on purchasing a Polo, but not if the image is screen printing. Patiently waiting for an answer.

Just buy it; they probably dont even have the design yet. You can always take it to the beer tent and trade it for a rifle.

  5. I have no doubt they are going down the list. We can joke about pro vs. semi pro vs. amateur; and how I could smoke more than half of the pros that are in the Pro tour with a mini14, hi point, and maverick, , but Pete and Chad would never do anything like go outside of their rules to pick who they wanted. Their integrity, in my opinion, is unquestionable.

I hearby admonish you, assaulter, for hinting otherwise.

  6. Any idea how many of the top 64 have said yes to the invite??

I'm not sure if this means anything but it seems some of the shooter profiles have gone missing from this page.

    http://3gunnation.com/shooters

I know a couple of people that are doing the pro series and a couple that were in the top 64 but declined to join. Could just be a coincidence but the ones that are doing the pro series still have profiles up while the ones that declined are gone. Even if my theory is right I'm sure this page is still a work in progress.

Be my guess. I said no and my profile is gone.

    You said No?

    what an amateur you are.

    ;)

  7. Um, they don't work too well in the carbine version. While they "say" it is plus 10%, it is more like plus 25% based on what I can tell. When you do finally get it to run, you will need a Titanium firing pin to keep it from slam firing also. Mine is 11.5" long.

I hate to use the word impossible but... It is mechanically impossible for an AR-15 to slam fire as a result of firing pin momentum. The firing pin is not long enough to protrude through the breach face until the bolt is locked. The forward momentum of the bolt is stopped by the chambered cartridge before it can lock.

little gnomes that live in my BCG use hammers to pre-dent my primers, so that when the fp does hit it, they go off. Its an option on some newer rifles.

  8. I didnt realize that all it would have took to be a pro was to shoot tac irons at the matches I shot Tac optics last year. Silly me!

Actually, I only shot two qualifying events. :)

thats alright; I have a face for radio, not cable tv.

and I still might be a pro; depending on how many folks decide they cant afford airfare to FL/Ga.

and as a backup to the backup; I know the 3G mayor, I might just show up with one of those big-ass gold keys of his.
