I did this three years ago in the shop, my hand was fwd of the port, but I still got some brass in my gut and in the back of my palm.

Yeah, the barrel could be bulged. Look down the barrel with a light and see if you notice bulging.

does the barrel move around?
The first step I would do is to knock the frame pins out as well as the trigger pin and then see if you can wiggle the slide around enough to free it from where its binding. then take it apart and inspect it carefully

the benellis are not true mirror image shotguns, the bolt release is still on the right. If it werent; a LH 21" M2 would be the holy grail.

Denise, you should know this: which of the big matches will let you shoot a 1x non magnified dot like an eotech or prismatic in the traditional HM irons division? And which specifically wont?

I guess my question is why slack is good in a rifle trigger when we try to eliminate as much unnecessary movement in a pistol trigger as possible?
We dont! Slack is good, slack lets us prep the trigger!
Because a two stage trigger is more like the triggers in the pistols that we all shoot, probably more than a rifle or sg, Im a big fan of two- stage triggers for 3g type rifles. AR Gold is the top of the two stage food chain, imo.
You certainly arent hurting much if any starting off with a good single stage JP trigger though.

I am in after deciding not to shoot the Pro series....and the fact I didn't get invited to shoot the Pro series.
It is kind of a bummer to have the Pros in the semi-pro series like Cyrus said. Oh well, guess I'll just to shoot faster and more accurate.

Here I am, absolutely crushed because I didnt shoot well enough to make it into the top 64, or even top 100; and then the semi-pro tour is announced, and a glimmer of hope appears into my otherwise dim view.
And then you Pros show up. Whats next;
