  1. I think that happened to E. Langdon to.
  2. Yes, that's the spring I'm using. Didn't get a chance to test out the other springs yet. Been practicing for falling steel.
  3. I may have to part ways with mine. I had all the intentions of using my 92X in competition but haven't been able to pull away from PCC. At least use it in steel challenge for limited.
  4. That's why I was asking. Just recently I bought a 92x Performance Ghost Hydra + holster from Lynda Turnbull and asked if she was still shooting for Beretta. She didn't respond to that question. I know she was having extractor issues in one of her first matches with the 92X.
  5. Is anyone else having issues with their 92X Performance? I.e. cracked barrels and extractor issues?
  6. Thanks for that info. I'll be trying that test today. I don't have a chrono but going off PNR's website their steel challenge round is 100 gr RN at 1100 FPS out of a 4" barrel, netting 110 power factor. I have the Galloway Precision guide rod using ISMI recoil springs. I didn't think of using wolf springs as the rod/spring was a package deal. If anyone is wondering I didn't change striker springs with the 13lb recoil spring. The slide cycled fine.
  7. Does anyone have experience running a lighter recoil spring in their Rival (S)? I put a 13 lb recoil spring in the Rival S and it ran but it did not help with recoil. I was using 100 gr 9mm. I wanted to test out the Rival S with a lighter recoil spring. The stock recoil spring with the 100 gr ammo causes stove pipes. I will try a 17lb and 15 lb next.
  8. Sorry, no Chrono. I was referring to the recoil impulse. I use PNR 135 gr ammo for the steel challenge. Depending on BCG and barrel length using that ammo, both PCC has a different recoil impulse. I shot a match on Saturday, and it appears that my PCCI (MBX Extreme barreled PCC/Scheel v.2)) looks like it doesn't move. This was observed from other shooters.
  9. No inconsistent shots. I use off-the-shelf ammo. I have both Gen 1 and 2 versions in 2 different PCC's.
  10. Ghost 360 with bullets out for me.
  11. I have the Ghost Hyrda P+ For the Rival. It's snug but seems to work fine for me with my Rival S.
  12. I haven't used the stock holster in a match. Glad I decided to get a different holster. You're not the only one to day the stock holster is terrible. Went with a Ghost Hydra +P.
  13. Exile Armory's March 8 YouTube video showed they had a Rival steel frame Darkside in stock. The price they were asking was low.

    Screws Needed

Call Canik USA. They sent me some sight screws when I called.

What Canik is this for? If your gun came with an optic plate more than likely you use the screws that came with the gun.
  16. Nordic Components did make PCC lowers with mag adaptors. I use one that's made for Glock mags. Talking with Tim from Taccom, Nordic doesn't make PCC anymore. https://www.bmtfirearms.com/lower-receivers/lower-receivers/nordic-components-pcc-semi-automatic-lower-receiver-9mm-for-sw-mp-magazines-removable-magwell-black-finish
  17. That was an excellent deal. Sorry you missed out.
  18. I was in the process of sending back my 507c ACSS red dot on my CZ-75 Bull Shadow. Holding the Bull Shadow I was thinking that it weighed more than the Rival S. Weighed without and with empty Henning basepad mags. I didn't think the weight difference was going to be that close.
  19. If anyone is looking for a Canik Rival S in chrome check here (it's probably gone). The video was posted this morning. I have ordered guns from them in the past. Great prices as you can see from what they have the chrome priced at. If they do not answer the phone they are busy. They are always looking for help to try and get back to full staff. And depending on the state you may not get charged sales tax.
  20. I use this when shooting PCC for steel challenge. I have a Zuca cart to haul my PCC/.22 so the mag case is a standalone item. I usually place it on the table and open it up so I can easily access my mags. It's possible you can have this sewn or velcro into a wide PCC case. When you unzip the case the mag carrier will be where you want it.
  21. Hi Paul. Are you the Paul I met at Range USA?
  22. I'm heading out to the range. I purchased 2 more springs and Henning basepads. I will test them out and see if there are any issues. I wouldn't cut a coil of the spring. When you loaded 20 rounds in the mag with MBX spring did you compress the spring with a loader 10 times before adding the last 4 rounds?
  23. Read the manual. You do not use the screws that came with your sight. You use the screws that come with the Rival.
  24. I had no issues loading the mag with 24 rounds using the Henning basepads. Racking the slide was easy. I tried the spring/follower in a Taylor Freelance basepad. Hard as hell to rack. Had to use the palm of my hand on the red dot to rack the slide.
  25. Signed up and ready to see what I can do. Is each stage a 60 second par time?
