  1. Oil-based marker. Easy to remove the paint with rubbing alcohol if needed.
  2. After hearing the stock break easily, I ordered a couple of aftermarket ones. I can't remember if these are the ones I ordered. They are similar in appearance, but I'm not at home to verify. https://variantinnovation.com/products/heads-up-insta360-go2-hat-mount?variant=43463728300240&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&srsltid=AfmBOooLkuldOSco7Ndk9xLpFZGSBkGSY800J6iDSALjIYRJqJH2OPUmzb4
  3. Did you remove the weight from the BCG?
  4. Welcome! I'm from Columbus. I shot a steel challenge match recently at Putnam County Country Gun Club. I think they do USPSA there. Ashland, KY seems to have plenty of USPSA and steel matches. If you don't mind the drive check out PCSI and Cardinal in Morengo. Crawford County will have an all-qualifier match this year.
  5. Welcome. I'm from Columbus also.
  6. Hello. Where from in Ohio and what matches do you shoot?
  7. Precision Defense (CWA) Shorty with a removable optic plate when you want to shoot irons. You can get it 2011 or 1911 version. I got mine towards the end of last year. I have put 1201 rounds of Mini Mag both 40 and 36 grain HP and not one hiccup.
  8. I can help you with the weight. Here's a link where I posted the weight of the Bull Shadow. I don't shoot IDPA so can't help you there. Weight of the Bull Shadow
  9. Yeah, I saw it. I sent Stuart a message on how much. He didn't reply.
  10. I forgot about this post and my reply about having sent my early serial # pistol in for service and not getting the MBX mags in exchange for the original mags. MPA delivered again! They did swap out the mags when I sent my original MPA mags in.
  11. I had the LD version of the A01 while I owned the CZ 75 Bullshadow. I still have the Bullshadow. I had it cut for an optic, I wished I kept the irons. It is a great soft shooting pistol with a trigger that can catch you off guard. The only downside to the CZ 75 Bullshadow is the front and backstrap are smooth. I've added grip tape from Dawson Precision to aid in the grip.

    92XI Squalo

I'm familiar with the RDO cut from Langond. My Elite LTT has the RDO cut. Why did you decide against the dlahdesigns plate? And do you still have it?

How's that dlahdesigns plate holding up? That may save me from getting the slide re-finished if I did do the RDO cut.

    92XI Squalo

Post-range report. The mag release diggs into your support hand. I will adjust it and see if I can find a spot that suits me when shooting. I noticed the further the target went out the more it wanted to shoot left. The front sight is narrow with lots of light on each side of the front sight. I don't plan on putting a red dot on it but if I did, I would do an RDO cut from LTT. However, I would lose the slide color if I did that. I have the Beretta plate but I've heard it's held on by two threads. The screws aren't long enough is the reason. I may have jumped the gun on ordering LOK grips. They haven't come in yet but I like the stock grips for my medium-sized hands.

I haven't shot mine yet I am heading out today to see how I like it. I was really surprised that I liked the grips on the Squalo, feels great in the hand. I love the color of the Squalo. Henning and Taylor Freelance base pads will not work with the Toni System magwell. I put the MBX Ultra Mag spring and follower in the magazine with the Toni System base pad. I was able to load 24 rounds. I racked 2 snap caps out without any issues. No live fire yet.
  16. Techwell Speed RL. I don't shoot many USPSA matches but I like that holder combined with the MBX glock steel mags. https://techwellusa.com/speedrl-products.html Hammer makes a nice pcc mag holder. https://hammerarmament.com/product/fenrir-pcc-mag-pouch/
  17. About time. I enjoy USPSA but that's probably once or twice a year and Ro'ing one or two Level 2 matches a year if I can get away from work.
  18. Jesse Misco? I'm sure he's shot at Worlds.
  19. 1. Yes. During a string, the dreaded bolt stuck back happens. Not often but it happens. This started happening at Area 8. The first of the year 10/22 ran 100% flawless. I have a Wiland short barrel with a shroud. 2. For this test I swapped out to lite Kidd recoil spring. I had been using the white spring which I think is standard, when the bolt being held open occurred. 3. No ejection issues. 4. CCI Mini mag, HV.
  20. PCCI was the first division I made GM in. The times to make GM are on your side when shooting PCCI.
  21. I ordered the TK DoubleKross mags to see if this would help with my bolt being stuck back during a string. Nice mags, but it didn't cure my issue. I tried getting good pics, poor lighting, and having only 2 having only two hands this was the best I could get. I couldn't see why the bolt was stuck back the round didn't look like it was hanging up. When I slowly pulled the charging handle back the nose of the round poked up and I sent the bolt forward.
  22. Henning Group has a Black Friday sale good through Cyber Monday.
