  1. I don’t think so, but I’m going to put the original recoil spring in tomorrow and I also have heavier spring as well I can try if that doesn’t help. After a couple of the rounds got caught up Iv hit the back of the slide with my hand and it doesn’t always put the gun into battery, so I’m not convinced it will change much, but it’s about the last think I can think of Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Update: loaded some rounds at 1.125 and 1.120 and both of these rounds fed so much worse than the longer ones (1.13-1.14). Going to try a different recoil spring weight, different magazine, and some factory ammo tomorrow and hope for different results on at least one front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. No, I don’t have a chrono right now. I just start with minimum published loads and try it in 3-4 guns to test for functionality and see if I need to bump up the charge or not. I will try the same charge though, thanks for the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It’s almost time to be cleaned again, but I was having problems even right after I cleaned and lubed the gun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’m surprised as well, Iv never had a feeding problem in my 19, and have only recently come into problems with the 34. I’m going to try some at a shorter OAL and possibly some at a higher charge. Do you reduce tour charge when you’re dropping OAL like that? I’m at the min charge so I’m not terribly worried about building too much more pressure, just curious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ok, thanks. I’ll have to mess around with the load this week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The gun has about 3-4K rounds through it, so I wouldn’t really say it’s a new chamber haha. I’ll try plunking every round and see if I find any that don’t pass. If that isn’t the case what else would you think? Should I try shortening my OAL or something else? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. My OP pointed out that I use the same mags between the 19 and the 34 so I didn’t think it was the mags. OP also stated that I get slide lock back on last round every time so I don’t think it’s an underpowered round Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The rounds jam about half way into the chamber causing that mark on the side of the case. Some I can hit the slide and the round will go the rest of the way into the chamber, and sometimes it’s too stuck and it won’t go in and I have to rack the slide and eject the round Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. They all case gauge (I gauge every single round) and the few I plunk test (one or two at the beginning of a loading session) pass the plunk test. Even the four pictured above that were failures passed plunk test. This is why I’m so confused Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hey guys, I’m having a bunch of problems all the sudden with my Glock 34. The load I’m having problems with is 124 Berry’s RN with 3.5-3.6 gr Titegroup at 1.13-1.142”. I also have a load using Brazos 125gr RN at 1.125-1.13” with 3.5gr Titegroup. Both of these rounds will not feed consistently at all in Glock 34, but have absolutely no problem feeding in my Glock 19. I have been using all of the same mags for both guns, so I don’t think that is the problem. I always get last round slide lock on the rounds that do go into the chamber so I know it’s not that they’re not cycling the slide all the way either. Should my next step to take the OAL down some more for the 34? Iv always loaded all of my 9mm 115gr at 1.13-1.14, and loaded 1,000 of these same 124gr Berry’s with no problems until recently and I’m not sure what’s going on. Any help would be appreciated. Picture is of a couple of the rounds that wouldn’t feed in the 34 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. While you can still get the max flair, it is do much easier and more consistent to use the limiter IMO. Also it reduces a large portion of the sticking when the ram goes down. Personally I would try the limiter before giving up on the PTX, it would be a quick, easy thing to try before spending money on other equipment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. This is correct. I first tried using mine without the travel limiter and it wouldn’t work for me at all. As soon as I started using it my results got drastically better. I would suggest trying the travel limiter before buying anything else
  14. Do you have the travel limiter on the powder drop? It has the two screws on it to limit the travel and gives a better flare as the powder drop isn’t bottoming out on itself. I can upload a picture if you’re not sure what I’m talking about Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ok I’ll take a look at case length and go from there. Which die did you switch to that worked better? I’m currently using Lee. I got fantastic accuracy out of the 147s so I’d like to stick with what worked for me, but just want to be wasting a bunch of loaded rounds that didn’t pass gauge for some reason Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I’m having some trouble getting your 147gr bullets to pass case gauge. I was seating at 1.13-1.14” and had about 15% rejects, when I shortened it to 1.1-1.12” it reduces the amount rejects slightly, but doesn’t get rid of all of them. I’m having good luck with the 125s and only had about 1% not pass. What should I check next to try and solve this. I’m going to be ordering some more bullets soon, and if I’d like to get some 147s but if I can’t figure this out I’ll probably just do more 125s
  17. What is the reason to use an oversized projectile? It would seem like it would make leading worse, not better. I could see how it helps with accuracy however. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. So if Iv never shot coated before and never slugged my barrel should I start at .357 or .358 for my glocks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Has anyone been shooting these bullets out Glock barrels? I’m curious how they have performed, and which dia. I should get. Iv always shot .356 plated bullets so I’m new to the whole coated game.
  20. Are you getting leading In your barrel though, or just your comp? I probably clean my guns less than the average person haha. You think it could be because of your OAL? I emailed the guys at Brazos and they suggested a longer OAL than bullets without the lube groove in it since the lube groove bullet is slightly longer and has a different shoulder shape
  21. What is your OAL for these rounds? I’m about to order a tester of Brazos bullets and haven’t used plated bullets before so I’m not sure where to start. My usual OAL for Berry’s 124 plated is 1.13-1.14”. also, how do you like those bullets so far?
