I know someone in the same situation and Impact Machine had the best turn around time and did good work.

the difference in slide velocity going to the rear with 12lb spring vs a 9lb spring would be pretty much zero. Michal Stepan of the CZUB factory team did a really good video for his engineering course, showing the difference in slide speed with different springs and bullet weights. The only real difference was on the slide going forward, going back you needed a spring so heavy that the slide would barely move before you really saw a speed difference.
If that’s the case then why do many companies and people recommend using the distance of your ejected brass to help determine if you’re using the correct recoil spring?
Im not arguing against it, just trying to learn

Matt Hopkins said on a podcast he uses 10# recoil spring. IMHO try different ones and pick one that you feel the most comfortable with.
In an S2? I thought he was shooting a P10 or something like that?

So I’ve noticed some of my friends S2 barrels the feed ramp is shiny silver, while mine is black coated. I’m assuming that’s the nitride coating.
I switched to an extra barrel that came with a slide I bought as an extra. I believe it came from a czc gun so the feed ramp was polished, I’m assuming maybe the chamber as well?
I’ve now shot 250 rounds with no issues.
I did pull the extractor and clean it but didn’t find anything obvious and gun was brand new so I’m doubtful that solved anything.
I noticed my rounds would not spin freely when plunk testing my new S2 barrel, and I only load to 1.085 so I don’t believe they were bottoming out. I believe they were sticking in the chamber. They spin freely in the replacement barrel that I am using now.
I trust Stuart (eerw) knows what he’s talking about and has seen this come up many times before. The real question is why is CZ sending out s2’s with this issue? -
I’m having the same issue (fte) with a new S2 and a new Primary Arms milled slide. 500 roundstotal and todays match I had at least 5-6 fte’s. I’ve had about 9 total.
I thought maybe it was a recoil spring issue, I’ve got an 11# in. (147 gr, 135ish pf). I threw a 10# in for one stage and it seemed to make it worse.
Ammo I am using worked flawless in my S1 so I’m kind of frustrated.
I’ve heard of using an A01 extractor might help? -
I have seen some white plastic device that goes on the end of some hangers. Thats about as much help as I can offer, but if you find them. post them here because I'd be interested as well.

G43x and 48
in Glock
Just curious what’s your use?
-
Well I can only confirm by feel, but I have two buddies with the Shadow Orange and their trigger is most definitely a much shorter reset then my regular Shadow 1.

Depends on your powder as well and if it’s hot or cold temp sensitive

There is another post on here somewhere about the same exact thing happening and CZC took care of it.
Might be an issue with the plate/screws? -

I’m going to make a counterpoint here:The mini-stage classifiers are VERY range surface and traction dependent.
On slippery pea gravel, I can put in a fantastic run on a 20 series classifier and it’ll only be upper A because I lose 0.5-0.75 seconds in my ability to get moving and stop.
Same classifier on grass and I don’t even have to try that hard to Hundo it.
The stand and shoot classifiers are more weather and surface independent which is what you want for something that’s going to be run everywhere all across the nation.
Great point, something I've never even thought of. In the NorthEast every range I've shot on is basically a sandpit. Ive seen 1 club with any grass at all.

Any idea why the screw heads broke off? What kind of screws, where were they purchased?

Flaman I agree that all the different CZ models can be confusing at first. A few years back I was trying to figure out which one was legal for both IDPA and USPSA and it made my head spin. I have two now and a bunch of CZ fanboys as friends, so I have a better grip on what models do what.
I still haven't seen you answer what the intended use is. If there is even a 5% chance you'd want to compete in the future I would suggest a Shadow 2.
Like any gun though i would suggest getting your hands on one first and seeing how it feels to YOU. Shoot a couple models if possible.

A little bit of heat (hair dryer or heat gun on low) helps get pouches on easier. Just warm up the mount a bit.

I like the boombas hellcats ($30), but i looks like they are not planning on making them anymore?
We all need to email them and tell them to get them back in production

I use the kipp as well and they even make different colors for that bling factor.

The mag tubes are the same on 19X vs. 17 mags, besides the color.
The TTI basepads I have are a few years old, so maybe they've made changes since then, but with mine they will consistently not fit the gauge on the latest version of Glock mags (mag on right), but will fit the gauge with older mags like the one on the left here:
Good info...thank you, I'll pass it along

It was Mid A and I felt so bad for the shooter.
I just bought the same base, though for an open gun. I wanT to gauge my mag to see if it’s any different.
I shot with the same guy today, he was using 19x mags and has heard they may be the issue. He's switching to G17 mags

Seems like a no brainer IMO at least. I have the plate system on my S1. Yes SRO's are the hot setup now, but in 2-3 years there could be a new and better design from another company.
I will say, the aluminum plates are soft. I bought a used one when CZC didn't have them in stock and the thing was beat up and stripped. Probably user error, but the steel ones feel much better to me.

Was this at MidAtlantic? If so he was CO and needed to make the 141, He was bummed he was bumped to open but this was his first big match and he's only been shooting a short time.

Welcome....Shooting sports is alive and well here in N.E. Primers...not so much!
What part of N.E. have you attending matches? -
Its always hard man, I feel you.
Had to say goodbye to our family buddy two weeks ago at age 11. We rescued him 9 years ago. In a 4 day span he went from being happy and seemingly healthy to not eating or keeping any water down. After a few trips to the vet with tests over a few days we found he had a rare and aggressive cancer and the only humane option was to let him go.
My daughter is 7, she's never known life without her buddy.

Was a great match, would love to try those stages again when its not a steady rain and 45 degrees.

This is what Ive been doing as well. I'll practice DA a little bit too but most of the time I'll use the dead trigger technique.

Shooting a major match also counts as a classifier, so if you shoot the same division no need for classifier. But I'd say the same as Racin...to reflect your current skill level.
