I didn’t even know they made a razor version. I’ve run the Venom on my CO setup and it’s worked fine
-
I've always shot right handed bolt guns left handed... so to me it feels normal.
It would actually be a learning curve for me to use an all lefty rifle.

One of my local FFLs only chages $25 to ship. Even with the transfer that's cheaper than using Fedex or UPS.
The downside is that it has to be shipped back to the FFL, so if they aren't conveniently located with good hours, then that makes it a hassle.

Without a doubt go with the Fort Knox. Built well and no batteries/tech to fail. Working that simplex lock is easy even in the dark.

The "thickness" will come from how heavy you lay on the epoxy. I just used a cheap sponge paint brush and put a thin even layer on. I supposed if you wanted an oversized grip, then make the layers of epoxy heavier.
In the end, my grip is thinner than stock. Because I took quite a bit of material off when sanding it prior to the epoxy. I did that on purpose though to get a slightly smaller grip.

Slap a couple of guitar stickers on the case and no one will even look twice

There are lots of things that need to go in to long cases - keyboards, mixing/DJ tables, video equipment, etc.
Don't put any gun stickers on it and just go about your business.

Something is better than nothing! Do you have a code you can share? Or is this something that they run on holidays, etc.?
Sign up for their emails. They'll send out codes whenever they are running a special.

They do discounts, but it’s minimal 5%.

I had CZC add the RDS plate. I like it because it gives me the option to change to a different optic.

Put the lower and pin punch in a clear ziplock bag and take apart in the bag, that way if the pin flys, it’ll be trapped in the bag
Yup.. get a micro screw driver and depress the detent and remove the pin.
I use a clevis pin to install the take downs.

If he is willing to do a few triggers like yours, I would send mine to him to be done. I really like that!!
Me too -
I pulled the tape off about 15-20 minutes
-
I’ve never even considered hiding scratches on any of my ARs.
-
This will allow me to try some different / heavier grips, but otherwise I’m keeping my S2 the way it is with the CZC cuts and setup
-
Lots of people still like the SP01 S1 better. It seems like a big factor is hand size... for people with large hands they usually say the S2 is better overall.
I have both and shoot them both well. I like certain aspects of the S1 over the S2 and vice versa.
It all comes down to you.

For me Hennings have been the best. I have some of the armenov that I need to try, it just haven’t had a chance

It looks like the trigger for a kids cap gun... couldn’t they have made it look better?

Does anyone here have customer made in ear hearing protection while they are flying in a plane?
I'm a big fan of my Bose Quiet Comforts when flying. The active noise cancellation is incredible.
Yes, Bose aren't the best for audiophiles. Yes, I know the Bose dynamic range, sound reproduction, etc aren't for audiophiles.
However, my use case is watching videos/movies when in a plane.... and for that I prefer the clear mid range and less bass. It makes the dialogue in a movie much easier to hear without cranking the volume. And when the cars crash and building explode, my ears don't start bleeding.
With that said... does anyone have bluetooth custom in ear protector and use them to listen to movie while flying?
How would you compare them to ANC Bose or Sony?

Is that compared to tuned Shadow 2’s? At this point, I’m pretty happy with my S2 even though I know it could be better. I’d be happy if my SP-01 could be tuned to the point of my stock Shadow 2.
My tuned SPO1 Shadow 1s were nicer/smoother/better than my stock S2s. No question.
-
I’ve got both S2’s and SP01 Shadow 1’s
when they are both ‘tuned’ they are very similar as far as trigger. The biggest difference is the grip/ergonomics/weight
and one of my S1’s trigger is still better than my S2’s.

I guess what I'm getting at here is the Razor is Vortex's top of the line red dot and $150 more than the Venom/Viper.
I'm assuming (blindly) that it's better in some form. I say blindly assuming, because I really don't know much about it. It seems to be a different design since it has a side loading battery tray.
