  1. Any updates on these bullets? I've been searching the web for the least expensive bullet. Since zero won't give me a discount if I pick them up this looks like the best price.
  2. O.K. I've read the FAQs and I'm still lost. I will probably end up with the Grams follower and spring, but in the mean time I need to fix what I have. I recently bought an STI Edge with 5 tuned mags. Only thing is I think the springs have been changed since the tuning. The guy I got them from included some extra Wolf springs that need to be cut to fit. They are like two feet long uncut. The problem is that each mag holds a different number of rounds! They should all hold 18 (sti follower & dawson +1) right. I can get from 13 to 17. each spring is a different length and has different bends. Help. What can I do to get them to work for now? Anyone have a picture for me? Thanks
  3. You think it's bad for USPSA? Atleast it can be understood and figured out. I had a college prof. that graded on a similar system. You would get a 7.3562 or what ever and you would not know your grade until the end. He kept his own data base and there was no place to go and get the high hit factor or high grade I guess.
  4. Thanks Flex. I'm not in the anti Glock group. I'll just use it for production now.
  5. Chris, Who did you send yours to?
  6. Duane, Is there any where I can see pictures or a video clip of that grip? Thanks for the advice. I'll try it.
  7. The same here. I got a used CR Speed holster with mine so I've already been dryfiring and drawing in the livingroom. All my wife can do is walk by, laugh, and mumble something about how sad I am.
  8. I picked up my new (to me) Edge today and put about 200 rounds through it. OH MY GOD! That's how a trigger should feel? Now I wonder why someone at a local club didn't put one in my hand to shoot a year ago instead of just look and say "oh you have a Glock" then snicker. Now the questions will be coming. Like how many thousand times will I have to practice drawing and flicking the thumb safety off so I won't look all surprised in a match when nothing happens when I pull the trigger? Is there a web page with a picture of a dissassembled edge that has all the parts labled? Thanks
  9. Thanks. I'd been away for a few days and when I checked this I thought "man, this has gone way off track." Phil I'll shoot you an email later.
  10. Hey, I in no way meant it was the gear and not the shooter. I've had the chance to talk with him a few times and shoot with him once at a local match when he was in the area. I've been shooting a Glock for ever and am now in the market for a STI/1911 type gun and thought why not find out what one of the best shoots and start from there. gmw2b, I guess that since I don't know what you mean by bucket brigade that I was not in it. I saw many examples of flat shooting guns at the area6 match, but was still hooked on my Glock. I'd been bitten by the STI bug by the GA match and really watched some of the top guys and was amazed at how flat their guns were shooting. I used a load that clocked at 166.4 PF there and was not anywhere near being as flat shooting. Not to mention being afraid I cut too close to the 165PF and might get bumped to minor.
  11. I've watched him several times and can not belive how flat shooting his gun is. I'm switching from a Glock to a STI type of gun and was wondering what he shoots. Not just that it's an STI but some specifics. Thanks
  12. Thanks for all the ideas. I pulled up with a broken leg from running and am out of commission for a while. I'll have plenty of time to try all the sugestions and see what works. Thanks again.
  13. I use my G22 for USPSA limited and have Taylor +5 basepads on the mags. I'm having trouble getting my mags to drop free all of a sudden when partly full. I have not had this problem until the last month and a half. I have not changed anything and my mags are in good shape ( no feed lip problems or anything) Help, it really eats up time on stages having to pull out a mag that should already be on the ground with a new mag in my hand. Thanks.
  14. I thought the guy at the chrono was a blast. He looked at my gun and said "now why would you want to go and do that!?" It was a great match except for that darn bridge head shot thing and it was nice to meet Chris P., Cy, and Roger K.
  15. Ironman, What brand of jacketted 40 cal bullet are you getting for about $42 per 1000?
  16. I'm going. I've been practicing ,since I stunk up the area 6 match, and hope to do better in limited this time.
  17. I shot this one today. 3.9384 hf in limited. Darn noshoot! Any idea what % this will be? I've been a d class shooter and just moved to c this last update.
  18. I hace an Uncle Mikes Kydex holster for my G21 now and need info and suggestions on a belt and mag holders. Also does anybody have any pictures on the position of the gear for production in USPSA? Thanks.
  19. Carlos, Are SWC lead or jacketed bullets? Unless I change barrels I'm not able to shoot lead from what I've seen.
  20. Does anyone have a good minor pf load for the G21? I just brought home a dillon 650 and am looking for a light load for production in IPSC/USPSA Thanks
  21. I have a Glock 21( 45 acp), Glock 22 ( .40), and a Glock 35 (.40) I was thinking about production or limited 10 since I hate the thought of buying 4 or 5 mags at $80 to $100 each.
  22. Help! I've been reading tons of info for the last two months trying to nail down a division to start in. What is the difference between the two? How can I tell one from the other? I mean, I go to one website and they talk about the other and I'm all confussed. I can't even tell about my local club because they have both links on the site as well as all the initials???????? Thanks
  23. Singlestack, I doubt that we have met. I checked your profile and see you are fromSmyrna GA and I'm way down in the southeast corner. I'm hoping to make it up your way later in the year though.
