Tried the solomons a couple of times, but they were not for me.then tried the asics trail shoes and a new Saucony trail models and really liked them both. So there some really good alternatives to the solomons.ymmv.

The other is hot a friends Sig Sauer max in 9mm and I was very impressed. It cycled and spat everything
I fed it, and was silly accurate.
Also decent value for the money ,IMHO

I have an Ed Brown on my Marauder and it fit pretty well with no blending. I put an EGW/JEM on my Tactical Lite and it blended very well without removing much material. I've never understood why STI only offers the "knuckle relief" grip safety.
Same on the Ed Brown grip safety... I Ike it better as it allowed a higher grip and functions flawlessly.

With the couple of the svi I bought recently, I sent them to svi for a thorough check out and parts, springs and safties tune. Well worth the money, imho.

I think you'll be very happy with one, used or new.

inho, it's not really a fair comparison, and i say it with the utmost respect- i shot a friend's atlas pistol in 9mm, and compared to my svi in 9mm- simply no comparison in the way both point ,feel, recoil and cycle. if you can fork the $$$$, and wait a 1.5 years ,go with the svi.
STI made by Dasan Machineries korea??
