I would be very interested to hear any reports on the bul pistols...... they seem to be high quality and high tolerances....
-
oh, thank you OP for some good tips there.

Having the same issues of blowback on my RTS2.... tried windex ,vinegar , and nothing worked. I ordered the Zeiss wipes.... tbc.

Thank you for the heads up ....I’ll certainly check it out and see who has it here locally

Unusual thing about something like the P320 VTAC. Buy it and shoot it as a general range piece and/or competition handgun.
Buy a compact grip shell for $40 and a couple 15rd compact mags for $35 each. For about $100 you'll have the ability to add a compact frame to the gun so it will conceal a little better. Or go the full conversion route and buy a compact conversion kit. Then you could have a full size gun for open carry or range and a compact for concealing. All with the exact same trigger and other controls.

Sarcasm sir.
Those guns are crap. On the sincere side, I’m a massive fan of the Walther PPQ & Q5 product line.
I missed it.... none the less ,thank you for the walther heads up....

So you want a Glock 19-ish size or something smaller?

yes, the m&p 2.0 certainly grabbed my attention, on many fronts.

interesting.... played with one the other but felt that it's trigger was mushy.... again , i'm comparing it to a custom 2011 trigger ,but still.... one that had a really nice feel to it was the sig vtac.
and for edc purposes?

Ruger isn't the only company producing yesterday's pistol today.
Another example is the CZ P10C. I like the CZ but it is really nothing more than a Gen4 Glock made by another company. It has an ambi slide release but otherwise there's not much there. No modularity. No provision for a red dot and no way to take the gun apart without pulling the trigger. The CZ would have been awesome ten years ago but there are probably better choices out there in the current market.

very good point on the CZ.... so in your opinion ,what is the current must have plastic fantastic? or top 3?

Thank you Tokarev, , very much... reading between the lines, I’ll probably stay away from it... it’s purpose, for me, would have been a car pistol.... probably an m&p 2.0 would be a better choice for that purpose..

Thank you very much guys, for the great input..... reloading, something to consider......

Switching to open division.... can anyone recommend a good reliable source for 38supercomp ammo?
-
ahahhhhh, too bad... maybe we should propose a new division- open light? or limited optics?
-
considering moving to CO, can I use a 2011 pistol with no ported barrel, no magwell, in 9mm in the CO divison?

I own two Atlas Titans and they are what I consider among upper echelon fantastic pistols in terms of build quality and accuracy .... but after picking up a TSO my Titans have (sadly) become safe queens. I really like my TSO.
IGOLFAT8--That's the kind of info I was looking for.... can you be a bit more specific- in terms of shootability, accuracy ,melt in your hand feel, and manipulation. thank you.

Have been intrigued by the CZ ts orange for a while.... has anyone compared it o any of the upper eshelon 2011s? Particularly the svi infinites?

Don't be disheartened. The speed you're seeking is not physical it's probably your transitions being too slow. Process faster VISUALLY and everything else will catch up and reduce your times.
Commit to your dry fire consistently every night and remember 15 mins daily is better than 2 hours one day a week.
Lastly, buy Ben Stoeger's new book and don't even focus on the drills right away. Just read about what he says regarding the mental commitment you need and if you can't give it that then just be content where you are. Have fun and grind away!!

Great advice and suggestions.... yes my transitions are lacking the snap and speed I need to shoot at.I have ben 2 previous book and I do adhere to 15 a day or two dry firing.... helped me tremendously.thank you sir!

Really appreciate the great input from everyone. I made B in limited in 8 months ,but feel that i'm too slow(& older....?????) to make it to A in limited...
maybe a rod dot to the rescue to help me shoot faster?!
-
Curious if anyone has switched from a The LIMITED division to CO, and with what degree of success?
-
This has inflicted and affected my match shooting as well......it's all in the headsomtimes easier said then done.....
I've been only shooting uspsa for 8 months ,high B level, but still forget or not incorporating a target on a cof…… very frustrating ,especially when the previous stages were going so well....
