I want to buy a new gun for single stack, and wondered which would be best? Is there any advantage to the 40 over 45? Some say it's harder to get a 40 to run reliably. Thanks for your help, Dave

I bought 4 new 40 mags for my Limited,and I'm getting jams with them when they get down to the last 2 rds. I don't have these problems with the stock mag that came with the gun. It doesn't matter if the rounds are loaded short or long,they still try to double feed when it gets down to the last 2 rds. Thanks for any help you can give me, Dave

So, skydiver, you're saying that the only way to get the mags that come with the gun,is to buy 8 more guns? I was hoping to get the same quality I got with the gun. So, the only choices is EAA, and Eric?

Has anyone purchased any magazines from EAA? I've checked their web site,and their prices seem reasonable. I'd like to get the same mags that come with the gun new.

Henning, I just got off the phone with EAA, they said I could'nt put the top end on my gun, as the two guns are different. They said the frame on the hunter is different from the limited.

I hope changing the Hunter to 40 will be legal. I was going to buy a Witness Elite, but decided to go with a 10mm Hunter instead. It seems everyone is going to a 6in. anyway,this would be a good choice. Thanks for all the help, Dave

I was just looking at a Hunter model in 10mm. Can I install a 40cal. barrel in this model? I saw that EAA offers a 40 6in barrel. Thanks for your help, Dave

I think they're a pretty good gun. I have one in 9mm for steel, and one in 40 for my limited gun. I have'nt had a problem out of either.

I replaced the rear sight on my 625 with the LPA sight, and would like to get one with a wider rear notch. I don't remember what I did with the stock one, I would like to buy a complete sight. Thanks for your help, Dave

Dave, I shoot a Dan Wesson SSC, the only mags I've used are the new Wilson 45, and I've never had a problem from mine. Hope this helps, Dave

Craigar45,I'm loading on a 550 also, and I'm having a hard time trying to crush the primer. I've tried double stroking the handle,and it seems the primer still has rounded edges. I tried loading some Starline brass, and the primer seems to set deeper in it. I'll try some of those at the range tomorrow. Thanks for the help, Dave
