Does anyone know who might sell a factory height tritium front sight for a Shadow 2 Orange. Preferably with a bright outline around the tritium, but not a deal breaker. I believe the sight height is 7.5 mm and the Orange sight is different than a standard S2.

I think you’ll be happy with them. I received mine a couple days ago, I really like them. They changed the whole feel of the gun for the better and I liked it a lot with the stock grips.

If you’re going to carry the mag appendix also, which I’m assuming, I like the JMCK AIWB High Ride Single Pistol Mag Pouch (quick ship). They also have a shorter model for the same price. I use a Dark Star Koala mag pouch in that instance because I already had them, although it’s adjustable for depth of the magazine I like the JMCK better, it’s also cheaper and doesn’t take eight weeks to get it If you don’t find a mag pouch you like that’s made specifically for the Shadow 2 I’ve found that Berreta 90 series, Walter PPQ, Sig 365 and Wilson EDC X9 mag pouches will work also .

I saw a post on a forum elsewhere that a guy was shooting a full length slide on the Compact frame. I haven’t checked to see if possible but I suppose it is.

For anyone interested LOK Grips just put their grips up available on their site for the S2C awhile ago. They’re listed in the Shadow 2 page, there’s an option for them in the size tab. I ordered palm swell bogies, I know they have palm swell and thin grips. Not sure if there are other textures or not.

Does the Compact take the same optic plate as the full size Shadow 2 OR ?

I received a couple of emails from LOK Grips and the “1911 T20 Torx Screws” they have are too short for the DWX. They will be carrying a correct screw but it’s expected in 6-8 weeks. They suggested a 1911 screw with an O-ring in the mean time.

I called them today to find out for sure but I called about an hour too late to get a response. I did send an email with that question. Hopefully I get an answer in the first part of the week.

On page four of the accessories page on the LOK grip website there are some screws I believe will work. They are “1911 T20 Torx head screws” with a bevel head and o-rings. I believe they have the 1911 threads that are used on the DWX not the metric threads on the Shadow’s. It would be worth a call before ordering to verify if they will in fact work on the DWX.

Well that’s a problem since I don’t have any to measure. I was thinking of buying some, but don’t want to if they’re not legal. I guess the round limit is 10 anyway so a standard +0 would work but I wanted to use them for other things also.

Are the CZ match magazines #MGC7519M legal? They are the plus two magazines with an aluminum base pad. NOT the plus two with the polymer base pad which I understand to be too long for the box. Thanks

Anyone know of a night sight made for the DWX or if the dovetail is a Novak 330* x 65* ? I had a reply that someone used a Dawson with minimal fitting but I want a tritium sight preferably like the “night fision” sights.

I finally found and bought a DWX locally a couple days ago so I haven’t been keeping up with this thread. Without having to sift through 58 pages can anyone tell me if the front sight is a true Novak dovetail or some variation? Maybe the actual degrees of the cut.

Yessir, I came to this thread through a search on removing weight from an S2. I didn’t realize the thread was for a USPSA division. I was was wanting to figure out if it was possible to make weight in ESP legally but I’ve about decided it isn’t possible without windows in the slide. If anyone has done it they could post a link or pm me please. I won’t derail the thread any further.

Thanks for the clarification, unfortunately I have IDPA on the brain, probably because I've been trying to figure out how to make a Shadow 2 legal for ESP and not having much luck.
