  1. I've been wondering the same thing SC. I've put off buying any right now because I'm confused on what works well and what doesn't. CZC is out of black basepads right now so it's been tough to pick with so few working properly from what people have said in this thread.
  2. Thanks, I might have to do that. Hennings are the best feeling grips I've felt but don't think they would do anything custom like that. Lok might be the way to go if they can do this.
  3. I've been debating this same thing but I'm XXL to XXXL gloves. I have Hennings on my Tanfo and love the grip but do wish they were a little wider. By the mesurements I see online It seems the Hennings on a shadow are a smidge wider than when on a tanfo. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  4. It's nice to see that I'm not the only size 15 shoe person here. It's tough for us since the selection is much smaller than everyone. Inov-8 's have size 15 and there Talon's have gotten very popular in USPSA since they don't wear out fast and have good grip. Salomon's Speedcross 4's are probably the most popular shoe and they don't come in size 15 but I found the 14 Wide fits me perfect. The other option is cleats and you can find most football cleats in size 15. Most go with the cheaper rubber bottom options so they don't slip on hard surfaces. I like the Salomon's for comfort and they do have really good grip so they're the best of both worlds. They're the most comfortable shoe I own but people complain they wear out too fast but I haven't found that to be the case with me yet. Besides cleats Inov-8 Talon's probably have the most grip. It's up to you what you're looking for.
  5. Good Luck, I hope you bought it because Oak Hill has it out of stock now. They sell out quickly.
  6. Just a side note, I just ordered mine from Oak Hill and they were great. Had the gun shipped in less than 24 hours after purchase. I had to wait 4 days from another site I ordered my first one from. The Stock II I got from Oak Hill was marked Cocoa and 2018.
  7. I've been in the market three times for one in the past and it seemed whenever I wanted one it was impossible to find a new one in stock. This past month a EAA shipment must have come in since I started seeing them pop up. I wasn't in the market for one but knowing I've always wanted one I picked one up and liked it so much I grabbed a second not knowing when another one would come in and wanting a back up gun for bigger matches. Seems like you just have to keep an eye out and grab it if you find one. I know Magnuss Sports (JJ's shop in Las Vegas) had atleast one this morning and Oak Hill Guns shows in stock. Other people may know more but Tanfo seems to only ship a batch in once or twice a year.

    P320 X5 Thread

I just installed the GG comp kit and it is great. I have an X5 and it still lightened the pull about 2lb if I had to guess. I didn't measure beforehand but take up is a little bit shorter, reset is definitly shorter and there is zero over travel now. While I had it apart I polised the trigger bar and the wall of the FCU it runs on. I did run into a gritty feal after installation. After pulling the trigger and putting the FCU to my ear to hear what part the grit was coming from I realized it was the new sear. I didn't lube it afte the install. One drop of Lucas Oil and it is all gone. I did add a small drop to all connecting points while I was at it since I gave it a good clean when I took it apart and all the grit is gone. Might want to give the sear a drop of oil from underneath a try.
