  1. It’s not like printing on a normal printer that uses paper. there is a ton of tweaking based on humidity, filament type, filament brand. then you have print speeds on first layers and higher layers. It’s a TON of tweaking and not for the faint of heart. You will probably spend more time tweaking than printing.
  2. Same here. I have had some frustrating experiences with them but in the end they make it right and sprinkle a little extra on top.
  3. Well I got my evolution back from Mark7 with the primer collator installed and various other things done to the press. Minus the collator the biggest change is the new powder funnel.
  4. Anyone received their primer collator? I was told back in December that I was in the next batch of ones to be shipped but here we are 4/19 and I still don't have a primer collator. I also ordered this almost a year ago. I find it hard to believe that I was in the next batch of ones being built in December.
  5. I only see it advertised for the revolution. Is this going to be available for the evolution?
  6. Anyone have any useful 3D printed parts for the evo that help reloading? I will have my primer collator soon. I am getting the next one built apparently.
  7. I had the same issue and the powder drop was crushing cases because it would not go up any further even tho it had more travel. I had to send the funnel back and they told me there was nothing I could of done to fix the issue.
  8. Hopefully they retro fit all the old ones
  9. Thanks for tbe the detailed info. That’s the most detail I have heard in regards to the powder measure issues.
  10. Agreed. I have my press running well now but the powder drop really scares me. I got mine back and it’s light years better than what was originally sent but something is off. It it does not drop consistent powder if you change the rpm even if you adjust dwell. If you manually drop charges it is consistent with its powder throws but the minute you run it automated it’s all over the board.
  11. That’s exactly what I did. Just purchase the pro version of the dropper and call it a day. I havent had any issues with the pro.
  12. Inconsistent drops. Powder drop was not smooth going up and down. Something internal was messed up and they had to fix it. Nothing I could of fixed myself.
  13. It happens to everyone. I didn’t get a chance to use mine for 70 days or so. Cranked out a bunch of ammo and it’s been under a cover since.
  14. I run 9mm at 3 and the swage sense detects every ringer. I would call Mark7 everyday to figure out why yours is not working. That is a critical sensor in my opinion.
  15. If you manually press the tube further up into the plastic tube it reduces/eliminates flipped primers. As you said it needs to be adjusted.
  16. yep. I got my machine from DA back In June or July and my machine has had 0 index issues. Just a faulty powder drop.
  17. They put it on with a heat gun. Mark7 specifically told me to use a heat gun to get it off. It works, I had to do it on mine when I converted it.
  18. You have to use a heat gun on the sprocket to get it off and the new one on.
  19. Here is my new powder drop that came back from RMA
  20. I got my powder drop back and ran 2k rounds through the press checking the powder drop every 100 rounds while I topped off primers. No issues with my new powder drop! anyone with the primer collator, keep the Dillon rf or get the mark 7 one? I have read mixed reviews about a lot of time spent fixing primers from the collator.
  21. I test my sensors before I start a lage run as well as validate consistent powder throws.
