Tell me about it...........we left at 7 am from Ontario, pulled into the resort at 7pm. Going around the Great Lakes to keep legal was not fun. Up at 6 to head to the range............a full day of shooting ended at 4 pm then on the highways again.......pulling into the house just after midnight. Lots of windshield time but well worth it from my perspective. I am also looking forward to the next installment at Peacemaker. We might even do something outrageous like practice!

You team Hoser or Eh-rugala? It was nice shooting with our neighbors to the north, eh! I am a proud member of team Arrrrrrrugula!! (although we are considering a change to Canadian Gun Monkeys for next year) Once again the match was a great way to spend a weekend. I am always happy to spend time shooting in the USA. Shooters world wide are always the best of people from my experience and this was no exception. The stages were GREAT and tons of fun. Thanks to Dean and the RO crew for all of their obvious hard work. I hope that the shooter on our squad who tried to faceplant on stage 4 heals up. He took it like a champ.........err or maybe Marine.

With the recent changes to gun laws in Colorado would it be wise to keep the same venue?

Well the Canucks are booked into the resort...............just had to suffer with some bikini clad young ladies in the hot tub...... its rough.

Ok..............learned at the Benelli match this weekend a very important lesson. My reloading sucks! Must do that practice thing before Pan American/ Hmmmm unless I end up magically with an Xrailed SLP!!

Great match! Well worth the drive down................back at Rockcastle for the Pan American Shotgun championships!!

Van is packed..................going to try to get in 3 or 4 hours tonight............then the other 5 or so tomorrow. 90 minutes.........I would love it!

I am pleased to announce that the East Elgin Sportsmen's Association (www.eesa.ca) has voted to join in the program. I believe we are the first Canadian club to do so.

Arrived home this morning at 2 am after an arduous 12 hour drive (fatal DUI single motorcycle accident in Dayton Oh backed up I75). All I can say is what a great match! Even with the heat which was astounding to this Canadian I had a great time and will certainly be back. I shot for crap but that is all me......... Good times, great friends and wonderful stages! My hat sweaty as it is goes off to Chad for running the two most brutal stages from an RO perspective. I did not know that the bracelets were a fund raiser! I just thought that they were friendship bracelts and I just did not stack up. But at least I did get a Tee shirt! Oh and to the RO who we now refer to as the Gatorade RO ( I am terrible with names) who treated Moodyblueberry with a bottle of green tropical punch flavour (not found in Canada) you will be happy to know that we picked up two cases on the way home (after checking several Walmarts LOL).

Well the car is packed............ Meeting up with my best friends in the morning for the Drive down from Canada!! Love a road trip!!

you did indeed explain and it makes total sense for a match structure such as this with component matches. Now back to practice so teams that had a DQ cannot continue to beat our sorry Canadian Butts.
