  1. http://www.lchico5u.com/fnh3g.html there you go Oh Jesse......shall I put you down for a slot for our Feb match up in Canada? We should be about -20 C. Now THAT is cold!!
  2. Shot Stages 1,2 and 3 today.........great fun. Just glad we shot the morning......shooting 3 after rain would not be fun. Looking forward to what the afternoon brings tomorrow on 4,5 and 6
  3. Thanks from me Neil.............as it was I who was tempted. It would have been even better if I were to have WON THE DAMNED STAGE!!
  4. Larry I was just on the hotel site and their quote for two double beds for that time slot is $75.65 a night. Is the $79 inclusive of all taxes? Otherwise they are pulling a fast one on you/us. Don't believe there is a fast one being pulled here....this is the room rate for all nights, hotels will charge a higher rate for Friday and Saturday nights plus this is for all the room not just the ones that have no view or anything else that are otherwise cheaper. Trust me I went back and forth between several hotels for the best price. Hope this helps with your decision. Actually it shows 75 per night for all of the nights. No worries however........I can just book off the internet price and still be there. It just does not seem logical.

  6. I have a pretty good selection of stages from all over the place on my hard drive. Send me your email and I can send what I have gathered thus far.
  7. He was using a Rem 870 IIRC Sako/Anyone Do you know what make of pump gun Roger was using ? I didn't see him at ESC09 in the CZ Republic & was just curious. N I believe it was Remington or Winchester. I heard that he is going to use Benelli next year.
  8. Well after a 9 hour drive home we Canucks made it home at 3:20 am (local) All I can say is hats off to Rock Castle, and Linda specifically and the entire crew. It was a first class event to be certain! We Canadians had a great time flying our flag (litterally) at this event and learned plenty. For one thing.....only shooting one shotgun match a year up here is not going to cut it at this level of competition. It was great to chat with shooters from all over the world and meet some of the faces from here (yes that includes you Neil). Thanks to Joe for teaching this Canadisn Wiskey Drinker how to drink Bourbon!!! My wife hates you !! I had a great squad to shoot with that made the match both challenging and entertaining to say the least.
  9. Team Canada's shirts arrived tonight...... Hitting the road tomorrow night after work... See you all there!!
  10. Thanks for the postal results Linda. Obviously we need to look at breaking Craig's thumbs before next week. Speaking of which.......WOOO HOOO only one more week before we leave! -
  11. Everyone had until TODAY to turn in warm up match results. I am entering them into the computer & hope to post tomorrow Linda Chico (L-2035) 2010 IPSC Pan American Shotgun Match Co-Match Director Sounds great.......the website still says results had to be in by July 10th which is what got me wondering what the process/schedule for them was. Not to worries........they are not near as important as the main match preparations.
  12. Will the warm up results be posted before the match? At the match? or after the match? ( of course I understand you have a crap load of things on your plate at the moment)
  13. I was curious as to what ammenities will be avaiable at the range itself so I know what supplies to bring. There will be 4 of us in one vehicle so I do not want to haul stuff that I do not need. Some things I was considering are. Folding chairs and coolers for the golf carts. Will there be seating at the ranges will there be beverages? I understand that the 4Hers are doing the reseting so there will be "down time" for us shooters to recover from the Southern Heat.
  14. With regard to the Birdshot stages. I note that on the ammunition website most of the brands offer 7 1/2 or 8 shot size while a few offer those in addtion to #5 and #6. In my neck of the woods we use 7 1/2 for all our birdshot shooting.........while my east coast friends tend to move towards #4 and #5. What is the situation for this match? Will the steel be doable with 7 1/2 or should I opt for a larger pellet?
  15. How many people are required to constitute an official "team" entry in any given division?
  16. The GP6 has the most AMAZING reset of any production pistol I have ever shot. The DA is a little wanting.......but follow up shots are fast.
  17. Hotel booked...........check Ammo ordered...........check Now the waiting for my form 6 and then Canadian paperwork. But at least we show up on the competitor list!
  18. Just read this post and I had to comment............... This IS IPSC in a nutshell....my hat is off to you sir. That said I will be shooting Std Manual with my 590A1 as that is what I am familiar with.......actually I think my entire squad (all EESA club members and IPSC Ontario members) shoot 590A1s
  19. Ok I now have a 4th Cannuck booked and am working on a 5th!! I was curious as to squadding arrangments. How do we make sure we are on the same squad? We will be travelling down togther so vehicles will be limited.
