  1. had to email sti today if they could fix my dvc limited on the issues on the ambi safety,it is not blended on the frame and beavertail that causes me much pain and cuts the web of my hand, Ive' seen one last weekend on a match and his dvc safety to the frame was really smooth.
  2. tested lastweekend my DVC limited 40, N320 4.1gr ,Ibejiheads 200gr, 1.180 AOL, got results of 849-870ish fps..powerfactor is like 169.8-175

  5. anybody here experiencing their STI DVC sharp ambi safety?this is my first 2011 gun but every grip i have it irritates and hurts the web of my hand, it cuts me..i have my other limited gun mac3011(metroarms) it really flush,and very comfortable the way they syncronize the frame and the way they smoothen the ambi safety.
  6. basically in the year 2009-2010 Metroarms Corp.(philippines) produce and makes 2011 modular guns for competition (ipsc) it was named MAC2011, the parts, slide,barrel, etc was made in philippines and the frame and plactic grips are made in Texas mainly called the original STI, in the year 2011, Metroarms made a deal with SPS (spain) to produce them the frame and the plastic grip and thats the birth of SPS Pantera.

  11. New to reloading,just bought my dillon xl650 for .40sw, and also bought Lee .40sw Deluxe Carbide 4 Die Set, and also just to make sure i bought seperate a Lee Udie Carbide (sizer/decapper), which Die im i gonna use? the standard one or the Udie? need infos, thanks in advance. STI 2011 .40
  12. havent chronoed yet for my dvc limited 40 12lb recoil spring,i run VVN320 4.4gr, ibeji coated bullet 200gr, AOL 1.180 shoots flat and nice, just that i need to chrono this..
  13. IMO well see if the dvc classic will be approved ive seen alot of single stack standard division IPSC from where i was from(philippines) where 1911's are everywhere, these are some ive seen and theyre IPSC approved screen capture freeware click image upload image hosting
  14. If you look at the pics, the classic doesn't have holes milled into the slide. yeah i think this is IPSC approved, its just a different style of serations. I would love to have one but the price IMO is a lil pricey,similar to the 2011 dvc

  19. saw some pictures from shotshow, they have DVC limited in black finish,black barrel, long slide in black with tin barrel

Please link to SPS' s website. http://s27.postimg.org/jmns6uqlf/12467755_10207553462691215_1902426712_n.jpg this is my MAC3011 this was my primary limited gun befor, i got it cerakoted with graphite black,(dnt like the blued finish) shoots good, i just got my dvc so they will back up each other.. if you want alternative 2011, if the budget is under $1k go with the MAC3011 or SPS Pantera (around $1.5k on grabagun)
  21. I have a Para Pro comp 40 slide here with sights already, I was planning of doing a single stack 40 project lastyear but then its hard to buy a frame because i live in california, pm me. thanks
