Dates? I need to put vacation requests in.....

Too slow of powder for what you want. You need a powder like VV 320, titegroup, W 231, Solo 1000 for best feel and accuracy....

I think I have a shellplate for it....dunno the number. I will be in the shop after court in the morning and will do my best to check......That is the #C shellplate for 45 colt......

For accuracy the Tube dots work really well to center your eyes. For Speed the CMore seems to be the hands down choice around here. I personally have not seen anyone happy long term with the small dots, and none of the professional shooters use them. That speaks volumes to me. The Ultra match dot is a good one, I have one on my Bianchi gun. Good luck with your builds!

Not being a dick, but adjust it according to the instructions in the manual. They are pretty explanatory. Once you adjust down the support arm lock it down tight. Then adjust up the swage rod. Find some crimped brass and swage them and then try to prime them. Once you get the crimped brass to prime easily then you have what you need.

Red Dot is a little too fast for most small case lead loads. Due to the hardness of the bullet it is leading from melting of the base of the bullet instead of swelling out and sealing properly going down the bore.
You might try a lead bullet that is a little softer, or try a slower powder like Titegroup, 231, etc......I know...you have red dot and not the others.....You can lower the load but that may not help.....

Rowdy, my primary shooting glasses are Randolph Rangers, with interchangeable lenses(similar to the Decots). They sit high on my nose, and work perfectly when I go prone at Bianchi. If you only need the prone every once in a while you may end up doing the rollover prone position.

Rollsize the brass and then resize and inspect. Most likely they are toast. Some brass does have a lifespan. Don't be afraid to recycle them instead of fighting with them....

Or you can send your gun to Canyon Creek and have the factory Barrel recrowned and welded up/refit. I am very happy with having done that...(Rob Leatham steered me in that direction.....) Very happy with my gun's accuracy.

That is dumb.....really dumb, plus they missed the boat three years ago........

Shoot an open .22 with a comp on it. Then take it off and shoot the same arrays on timer. Watch the dot movement. Look at the timer.
Comps do work, even if you don't "think" they work.....

Sorry guys.
From someone who has shot some of the big matches for years and seen the involved parties do their "thing" this is no surprise that we are here now.
After the first "new" steel challenge with USPSA at the helm I knew something would come to a head, and years later here we are.
For those of us that have been paying attention the resignation of two honorable men (Area Directors) after making a motion to remove the ED(one of whom was threatened with legal action), and then a long time employee that has worked with the ED for years seeking legal counsel (after legal action was threatened against a Executive Board member), and then resigning after posting information to make sure that she is not the fall guy?
Our problem is that we are all alpha males drawn to competition, and want action taken quickly. It doesn't work that way.
We have to be patient and let the Executive Board do their collective job. I have contacted my Area Director and let my feelings and observations be known, for what they are worth. It is really a sad thing, that our organization is experiencing a lot of things similar to the Government right now........If we are truly not happy with how things are being run, will we do the hard work and make a change, or sit around and carp about it on the internet.....Time will tell.

Degrease and heat up with a torch. Use Brownells cold blue mixture. rinse off and oil. Dark as night.....

Be VERY CAREFUL when loading below 3.0 grains of CLAYS. The large flakes will bridge and you can have poof instead of blam. Keep weight on the powder feeding down or put some type of vibrator on the powder measure. I thought it was bs but it happened to me as well......
DougC PS Titegroups is much better powder for both bullets and meters much better and is more accurate than CLAYS.....in my experience.

First off. I would load shorter at 1.230 OAL so it will run in all guns.....
Second, reduce load and chrono til you get your PF you want.
Only problem is that it is a slower powder and you will have more recoil than with faster powder, and you might have more unburnt powder as well...ie. not as clean.

I am very happy with my 4P Gun from Canyon Creek. I had the factory barrel re-fit and it shoots very well. I also like the basepads offered from Springer. They are the right size to handle and reload with at speed, for me anyway....lol.

Leatham swears by a roll crimp on his 625 ammo, before the Minor guns took over. I would look at a Redding roll crimp die. You can have the body turned down so it will fit in the SDB unit by a machinist. Just take the Dillon unit in and have them measure it up.

Yeah, what they said......Congrats!

Glad you got it set back up. They do need some TLC now and then.....

If the brass was processed in a roll sizer and the rim got mangled then it doesn't matter which shell plate is used. If you haven't, take a look at some of the ones that go flying out and see if they will slide in and out manually on the shellplate. If they dont, then check the rims on the cases.

For the recoil I would rather carry the 9mm with a good hollowpoint with two extra rounds.......Whatever floats your boat!

Yep, check the bullets in the mag. That is usually it with this gun....

Try 2.9gr TG with same combo. No sticky, then you have your answer........

Dan. Pull your barrel and look down the chamber. See if there is a ring of gunk in the front of the chamber. Sometimes there is a sharp edge due to the barrel liner on the back of the barrel. Polish that area, but don't take any material away. Also hand chamber rounds and eject them, seeing if there is any marking on the bullet. I have seen the extractor cut on the barrel push into the chamber, and mark the bullet. A few minutes and a round file fixes this up.
Last, make sure your hands/thumbs don't ride the slide. Most of my friends have went to the Swenson shielded safeties and their malfunctions went away.
Hope this helps....It is a great unit and when you get it figured out it will give you years of pleasure!
