Hello, If Beven Modifies it does not count because beven warranties this for a period of time. But when Beven Modifies the unit it will last a minimum of 40,000 rounds.. Thanks Dean

hey all, I am Dean with www.docterusa.com I am developing a frame mount for the docter which will have the same screw holes as the c-more. The mount will take the sight further back onto the gun to achieve the least amount of flip as it would be if it were on the slide itself. Now for the docters: For anyone to use these in IPSC THEY MUST BE BEVENIZED, PERIOD!!! putting the rounds we out through our guns, no slide mounte sight will withstand. The newest generation docters that are out now are the F series and are brighter, more robust and more reliable staright from the factory, BUT if you intend to use in IPSC they still need to be bulletproofed by Beven. I have 35,000 + rounds through BOTH my docter Guns and NEVER had ONE issue with them.. If you buy a docter from me and it stops working within one year, I will replace as long as there were no user mods done. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. hey Everyone, Yes, I am the new distributor of the docter optics sights. www.docterusa.com. I will be contacting brian E to establish a vendor link for me here on the forums. The sights are being ordered as we speak, and I am taking pre-orders now (Not collecting any money) just taking orders, so if you want any please feel free to contact me. AS for Beven, he and I are very much involved. He will still be slide mounting these docters and Bullet proofing them. For IPSC shooting YOU must still have the sights installed by Beven as he CNC 's onto the slide, and bulletproofs. It is very very cool..... The sight is placed very low onto the slide and the dot is right over the bore giving you point of aim point of impact from 1 yard to 100 yards. As for my glasses, I am not selling them.... STI tubes when done by Grams are special for 9mm. He does it all, spacer, holes, tuned, etc..... The mags I use are STI done by beven and they are now only for 9mm.. Call him , this is a minor investment BUT a huge gamble if not done right... Take my word for it..... Dean makkos

Benny, i tried this before using ISMI glock springs with Bevens followers and THEY DID NOT FIT! I then called BEVEN to ask why and he replied that the ISMI was not designed to work with his folloer and that the follower angles and the placement of the top coil are not for use with his follower.. Why would anyone want to use Bevens followers with any other spring???? Bevens springs are designed for bevens followers...

guys having shot both c-more and now docter I have decided to stay with the docter. If you go with a docter you need BEVEN GRAM to bevenize it so it does not break or lose zero. You also need Beven to mill out the slide for the docter as well. If the cut is not made right which has the four post system you will not keep that docter on line for long. As Eric stated, when using the docter setup your angles are different and for me I realized my hits are better, and I find the dot quicker. The biggest reason for my switch is the docter set up seems to shoot a lot flatter keeping the gun on track better. In speaking to beven, who now only shoots docter sights, I was convinced to give it a try, and I am glad I did.. Paul, the reason most shooters have not used docter set ups is due to the realiabilty of the sight. Now that Beven has corrected that, I guarantee you will see more shooters using this system.

dirtypool, I am here in south florida and have a complete set up in docter by Beven. I have been playing arounfd with it lately and can say it is a lot lighter and faster. Going from c-more the field of view is smaller but the gun presents higher allowing you to never have to worry about the close range due to the c-more dot being much higher than the barrel. With the docter it is point of aim from 1 foot to 50 yards. If you want to try this set up I will be at Franks for the 2nd sunday match so come and try it out.. The gun is sut-up in 9mm so hold on tight....... See you this weekend if you can make it.. Dean makkos

Dirtypool, forgot to mention, the cost of rebuilding the doctor is $100. If you decide to go this way, PLEASE make sure you talk to Beven, he as tremendous experience with this. I HIGHLY recomend him..

DirtyPool, The cost from Beven is $200 to cut the slide. The other cost involved is for Beven to MODIFY the Doctor sight to make it bullet proof and brighter. On my gun, this works and looks amazing.. I ONLY Reccomend BEVEN for this being that he is the only one with experience doing this. hey dirtypool, i have an sv built with the doctor and I love the platform. I have two c-more guns but want to move tho the platform. The doctor is the way to go, but IT MUST BE REBUILT BY GRAMS ENGINEERING, otherwise it will break as stated in other threads. I just shot the area 6 match with beven Grams who uses this platform exclusively and it is the way to go especially when moving from limited. I am a Master Open shooter and I feel this is the best platform for many reasons which I will not get into now. Take care/.....

I would like to thank Julian and the crew at the sunshine games for a great match..... Paul, you are the man! Great round and congrats on the win.. I would like to say something about Paul Whitacre. It was the last stage for us, and Paul and I were neck in neck. I shot and had a stage malfunction and decided to reshoot. As I was going to the range director to ask for the reshoot, Paul accompanied me saying "let me go with you to validate your claim". Julian agreed and I received my reshoot. Paul, you are a class act and a hell of a competitor!! I look forward to next year.. Dean Makkos
