Its not really a true comp, supposedly they are trying to get it into limited.  The barrel ends and is not connected to the comp. The comp cuts are in the slide itself.

Same "system" as the 365 X-macro

Had an older guy at a match last summer got his feet tangled up and went down hard and was literally on top of the loaded gun with it pointing uprange.  The 180 break actually occurred as he was going down.  I was standing about 10 feet directly behind him and saw it all happen in slow motion.  He was pretty banged up, probably had a concussion from the impact.

Similar thing a few years ago here in Australia, older Open shooter moving across the stage lateraly and slipped, lost control of the gun as he fell and it ended up underneath him muzzle pointed towards his face. Very gingerly got him up and the gun cleared, (safety was off). He was pretty beat up from the fall.

Here’s an inner belt option. It’s a little pricey purchased separately, but it’s what comes included with my tactical belt rig.

It’s not your traditional loop velcro. There’s no “fuzziness” to it at all. Perfect match and very solid grip when paired with the lynx belt.

Also recommend a quality thigh pad. The belt is so rigid that the holster hanger will not flex out of the way. Coupled with paper thin shorts during the summer and it was pretty brutal.

I started running the Kore Essential "battle"belt inner seems to work ok but if it does wreck the velco its not the cheapest of replacements.

  5. Because when Production came in to being you could'nt change anything from OEM, there are now some 'minor' changes allowed ie aftermarket mags, grip panels, sights and triggers/ springs that have been allowed. It will always stay majority factory as IPSC believe opening up like USPSA has creates a $$$ war. True or not? Not my call to make.

There will most likely be a new rulebook after any changes are ratified at the GA this month.

  6. 17. Original parts and components offered by the OFM as standard equipment, or as an option, for a specific model handgun on the IPSC approved handgun list are permitted, subject to the following: 17.1 Modifications to them, other than minor detailing (the removal of burrs and/or adjustments unavoidably required in order to fit replacement OFM parts or components), are prohibited. Other prohibited modifications include those which facilitate faster reloading (e.g. racking or cocking handles, flared, enlarged and/or add-on magwells, etc.), and/or adding stippling. Changing the original color and/or finish of a handgun, and/or adding stripes or other embellishments is permitted.

    Might be an issue

  7. I'm pretty sure there is a how to video somewhere possibly either on youtube or maybe on the DAA website but yes you can. From memory you just remove the screw set up and remove the older insert and install the new magnetic one, you can put a DAA sticker over the old adjustment hole to stop crap getting inside.
