Have heard "shut it, shoot it and put it away"...... Was a different guy to the one that used to say "Gas it up"

Yeah, I gotta stay with Burris.
Interested to know why you "gotta stay with Burris"?

I use the DAA magnet cover for 10 rnd 320 mags and any other types work fine too.
-
The Kore inner doesn't use elastic, but when you ratchet it up it allows the inner to tighten without the actual belt bunching up.
-
Are you modifying the part to fit it? No so therefore the answer is no
-
The Kore inner belt does a similar thing without using elastic.

Yes, I remember when they added the "if" to the ULSC commands. I think it was the same time that LAMR was changed to MR. Jay instructed my class, and he gave us laminated cards with the range commands, but that was 20+ years ago, so it's long gone. In the late 90's we had a local guy that liked to say "Stoke it up and make it lethal, cowboy".
I also remember LAMR was changed to MR because on an unloaded start, the RO would have just given a range command counter to the actual start condition, confusing non-English speakers. Or at least, that was the explanation given. And, "if clear, hammer down, holster" encompassed all the divisions, including revolver (at the time).
If Jay Worden sees this, maybe he can refresh my memory. I did not shoot IDPA, so that's not what I was thinking, but since they came from our sport, maybe they brought it with them.
Make ready is an addition to LAMR for unloaded starts. If its a loaded star the LAMR command is appropriate. (IPSC)

I started as an IPSC RO in early 2000's and 'slide forward was not an official range command although it was used by some. The 'If clear" on the unload was bought in to put the onus on the competitor if there was an AD on the hammer down command the RO couldn't be at blame as the competitor failed to check his own gun. My understanding anyway.

or get an optic for that actual footprint

To clarify, the 5 points you listed are the ones that were specifically accepted at the GA?
That's my understanding.

From the IPSC Australia FB page-
All Handgun rule changes except those specifically accepted at the GA are pending verification at an Extraordinary General Meeting on 31 March 2023.-
Production Optics Light (PDOL) trial has been extended to December 31 2023
-
A new Category of “Grand Senior” for Competitors aged 70 and over has been introduced
-
Updated Handgun rulebooks may not be issued until after the EGM
- The expiry date for .357SIG in Standard and Classic Divisions was extended to December 31 2025.
- Production Optics Division under trial since 2019 was adopted as a permanent Handgun Division.

That's the difference between footprint and fit, the holes might be ok BUT the body doesn't fit

Its not really a true comp, supposedly they are trying to get it into limited. The barrel ends and is not connected to the comp. The comp cuts are in the slide itself.
Same "system" as the 365 X-macro

So are you blaming the magazine or the AM bases?
-
Is it still a thing?

I'd get a cheap Uncle Mikes kydex/ plastic for your G34, then go from there when you get your CZ, you may like that type and there are plenty of manufacturers out there

Another was a new shooter that was supposed to engage targets from either side of a barricade. Decided that it would be easier to do a rear 360 rather than pull the pistol back and take a step to the left, much to the horror of the squad standing behind the shooting area. Only swept about 15 of his fellow competitors.

Had an older guy at a match last summer got his feet tangled up and went down hard and was literally on top of the loaded gun with it pointing uprange. The 180 break actually occurred as he was going down. I was standing about 10 feet directly behind him and saw it all happen in slow motion. He was pretty banged up, probably had a concussion from the impact.
Similar thing a few years ago here in Australia, older Open shooter moving across the stage lateraly and slipped, lost control of the gun as he fell and it ended up underneath him muzzle pointed towards his face. Very gingerly got him up and the gun cleared, (safety was off). He was pretty beat up from the fall.

Here’s an inner belt option. It’s a little pricey purchased separately, but it’s what comes included with my tactical belt rig.
It’s not your traditional loop velcro. There’s no “fuzziness” to it at all. Perfect match and very solid grip when paired with the lynx belt.

Also recommend a quality thigh pad. The belt is so rigid that the holster hanger will not flex out of the way. Coupled with paper thin shorts during the summer and it was pretty brutal.I started running the Kore Essential "battle"belt inner seems to work ok but if it does wreck the velco its not the cheapest of replacements.

Not had 1 case issue or any other issues with the X5 that Dan used to own.

I have a 509t on mine, my gunsmith reversed the Holosun factory late and drilled and taped holes on the slide to match the plate, he had to trim a couple of mm off the length of the plate.
Works fine but wish it was a bit thinner.

Hi Brit.
I think you'll find the Alien already is on the list, (wonder how that happened) And unfortunately I think youre probably right about PDOL, makes you wonder why they even split them in the first place. Maybe it needs a bit more time to bed in with the less than ideal situation with COVID, it's as popular as PDO is here in Australia but we're just a small sample.
