  1. Could this be a reasonable approach, of course, because of Rule 44.1.2(c) Subparagraph 66.114. No extra charge for sarcasm. The devil made me dot it!! Actually, all kidding aside, I find our (me included) endless analysis of the rules to be an interesting way to update and refine our sport.
  2. The other thing about aging and shooting, to quote my friend and gunsmith, "The older I get, the better I used to be." I will say though, that at age 74 I am having the most fun shooting that I have had. I not longer worry about a bad match. Yes, I like to fell like I did well, but being with friends and having fun is what it is all about.
  3. Darn kids. Perhaps handicaps like golf (or life????????)
  4. So, I notice at the matches that more and more of the shooters have gray hair and are older, some much older. I am beginning to wonder if the gap between everyone (under age 55), senior (55-64), and super senior (ages 65 plus), is not narrow enough? What about Distinguished Super Senior, age 75 plus? Above that we could have Really Ancient Distinguished Super Senior, age 85 plus, then above that............... The above is said mostly tongue-in-cheek. And yes, I am about to turn age 75 (however, I am still very competitive in the Super Senior division). If this post constitutes hijacking this thread my apologies. My sense of humor some times gets the best of me.
  5. Tried dot at 45 degrees. Switched to laser. Laser seems to work better, but that being said, I really don't use it much at all. Generally, I only use it at the start with a full target, or targets, with a close presentation.
  6. I use blue in my PCC and have not had a problem with clogging up the comp, but perhaps that is a function of the CMMG comp design. I am operating at approximately a 127 power factor.
  7. I made the switch from a 45 and dot to a laser. I used the laser very, very infrequently, but handy for some starts and some leans.
  8. I have two aluminum with click and one poly with standard switch. I prefer the click.
