Just to let you all know Mark and I have worked out a deal for me to do some more cooking for this match. Food won't be covered by your match fee this time however, so bring a few bucks for lunch. I haven't worked out any kind of menu yet but it sould be similar to the AL section match. Maybe some nice warm chili to warm us up on the cold. I am also thinking about catfish and hushpuppies. I had a great time this weekend. I have to agree with the assessment that Mike is indeed evil. Those stages were "intresting" to say the least. On a side note the food was the best I have ever had at a match. THanks to all the match staff and Mike for putting on a great match.

All I know about 38 super is that it's simi rimed. Is the 38 super case larger than the 9x19? is it closer to 9x23?

LoL yea that is true. But I can pinch every penny till it screams So far I have gotten some incrediable deals... such as the sti slide with STI slide lightning and Front and rear serations for 170 shipped. And I got an EGW 9 port comp for 53. I'm not trying to cut any corners but I do want to get the best I can for the money. I don't need the latest and greatest just good and solid I think of this process as vetting so to speak. I'm finding out just how fine I can cut it without going to far. I have a long way to go but I'm getting there. Thanks again for all the info. I didn't know I needed to be looking at 6" bbls. That's a pretty big peice of information right there heh. I'll be calling KKM tomorow to see what they can do for me. BTW Shooters connection has a good price on STI frames 330. That's likely my next purchase. Now I just have to convince my gunsmith to teach me everything he knows.

who sells just the frames? I'm working on a new project and need a frame. And what should it cost for a striped frame?

Are your mags factory Para or aftermarket? I had a set of metgar mags and even with the dawsons base pads they wouldn't engage the mag release but my factory para tubes work fine. They are about 1.5-2mm longer than the metgars

I just looked at his site again and he has a bull threaded but that won't work with my cone comp I should probly call KKM directly. Does anyone know about what a bbl from them will cost setup like i need?

I would like to lay hands on a decent but inexpensive 9mm bbl. I have a Slide and an EGW cone comp. but it turns out that the bbl I have isn't suitable for major PF loads. I think the KKM bbls are priced pretty low but I can't seem to find one that will work for me. I need a 5" ramped threaded Wilson/nowlins 9mm 1911 bbl for as close to 150 or less as possible. Thanks *edited* I changed my mind about the frams I plan on getting.

hehe I'll do the best I can. the bbl is stainless 5" nowlins unramped chambered in 9mm. MFG is unknown. I don't have any pics yet but will post when I get a chance. I didn't really expect anyone to be intrested heh so the responce is a bit suprising. More info to follow.

I'm starting to get parts for my next project. working on an open gun in 9mm. so my question is weither or not ramped bbls or unramped bbls are the way to go. Thanks

Is it even posiable to convert a 45 slide to 9mm? what would need to be done? What's different about the 2 slides? Thanks Tony

yea I agree it was actually the 1st mod made. I was at a friends shop showing off my brand new box stock blaster and I mentioned that I wanted to get a DP Ice magwell. He looks at his bench a sec and says like this one? Err yea just like that one hehehe.

Spoke to Mike today and he told me that as of right now we have right at 60 shooters. We do expect to get some more apps in this week. I'll post more information as I get it.

ok I have more information. I have posted a file with the basics of the stages. There will be a total of 9 stages and a total round count of 208. this iinfo is finialized. Mike had to rework some stages so he will get me the stage diagrams this weekend. As for squad requests please get with me and let me know if there is someone or a group od someones you would like to shoot with and we will see what we can do.
