  1. What a great match, there were some really ingenious stages! I would rate the paint ball stage as one of the best, the pro action aspect is not seen very often, and punishment for dawdling or being less than tactical is not new. In this case just more positive. No 343 is tuff.
  2. GA Precision used take off barrels for rebar in the floor pore for there building expansion.
  3. Mike; I was horribly miss quoted! I said “Lead the way to the Ankel beer I could drink my weight of it.” Or that’s my story and I am sticking to it. Sheepishly Mell
  4. I think I've seen him, but wheather or not it was in fact him I can,t be sure. However obviously he is a gay.
  5. Was going to shoot the rifles only match on 10/28 but alass to much work, so maby waco, thats to far to go by my self, will look for a partner. The next will be tac pro sniper on 11-18, then Ft Benning. And you?
  6. RS So, what’s your name? I like to know whose insinuating I’m a liar! And you are right, you may squeak by if you are armed with a with a manual reset capacitor magnetic gauss rifle firing a ferrotungsten projo, to there Win 1902 22 short MOR. Love you in the dirty way Mell H Kuhn
  7. Dear RS I should have responded sooner but I was at a match. Quote from you; (Could you name those matches you are referring to?) My response; Yes I can, in fact I have shot in five. Your statement; (If you compared them to pistol matches: Precision matches = bullseye pistol matches. MOR @ Albany = USPSA pistol match.) Rebuttal; That's still utter BS. Your proclamation; (I wouldn't call those matches precision rifle matches. They have elements of precision rifle. But IMO they aren't precision rifle matches. Take a look at their names: ITRC = International Tactical Rifleman's Championship Monthly Raton Match = "Sporting Rifle Match" http://demigod.org/~zak/firearms/precision/ Recent team match at Raton = "2006 Practical Rifle Team Challenge") Response; Other have all ready posted to that dribble better than I could. You claim; (They don't call themselves "precision" rifle... because they aren't precision rifle matches.) Well OK, if its the name, there are no matches that I know of that are called "precision" any thing. Even though a fair amount of the shots are long and small. I guess we must agree to disagree. You commented; (I get the feeling like you/we/I are confusing the issue(s). The thread has snaked into "what should with do with USPSA MOR matches." Or at least hat's what I have been posting about. Do you think a discussion on rule changes in USPSA MOR matches is somehow going to change or is even applicable to the matches you described?) The matches I have referred to are in fact "precision" regardless of what you think. Further more, your touted USPSA MOR should be a "precision" shooting event as well, otherwise it's just another hoser, so what's the point? "crux of the biscuit"! A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD To "level the playing field", you will have to handicap the better shooters. The ones who win will always win no mater what they bring. So, bring them down to a lower level and the last place shooter would determine that handicap. Just like in golf or bowling. The repeat winners win mainly because they work harder. As far as reversing technology and requiring a 19th century design, makes little sense to me. In fact black power metallic cartridge is already there and there crying for contestants (they shoot over 600yds at 1 MOA size targets, Is that to precise for a MOR match?). Love you long time Mell
  8. Mike They have indicated that it would not be chilly or damp to out of towners, but southern hospitality is always warm and sunny (except to carpet baggers). Don't the other Mell
  9. The label "Precision rifle match" doesn't mean you just stand there and shoot dots. It refers to the type of weapon required. There can be plenty of run and gun, there are many matches that have course that could be way over a mile, and they are timed. Meticulousness ranging, wind estamating, climatic condition evauating are a must, you don't just aim and pull. All this coupled with a lot of movement plus run and gun pistol shooting. To compare these contest with bulls eye is ridicules. As is referring to the Albany match as some spectacular one of a kind.
  10. T-55A ZSU-57-2 2S-3 BRDM-3 I think (guess) Scratching head Mell
  11. And shoot you should. As in all true class systems, the divider is economics and birth placement. So the classes are $0.00 to $1000.00 = Commie class $1000.01 to $2000.00 = Third world class $2000.01 to infinity = Capitalist class And it would be a claims race, if your win is challenged you would be required to sell your rifle for the max class amount. Brilliant! Warmth and fuszzyness Mell
  12. I am glad this sport is an arms race, by the way; all sports are. The thought of leveling the playing field is like, "let's redistribute the wealth", its pinko. In the name of love and beauty Mell
  13. The only thing packaged worse than WW brass (in a different way) is Federal primers. On the other hand, your girl is packeged just right.
  14. Bill T Remington comes in poly bags also, but they are heavier! However I have had such poor case life with Remintion brass I'll stick with WW. Mell
  15. Mr. Canine Testacies You cannot love me; nanbla is a bad bad thing. However I am flattered, and I miss you also, I guess. May the open mine be filled Mell Kuhn PS you are very clever, yet, I do so love piling on.
  16. Wild Horse Must be sabotage! Some pinko or some fureigner or some other so & so whose so jealous of the good old boys they could do any thing; even fiddle with some ones gun. But we'll flush'em out. What the hell's next? The world out there is plum full of them terrorist, not one gauld dern thing is out of harm's way. Watch your back partner. Love and enlightenment Mell
  17. Doesn’t the rest of the definition of the word dexterity have to do with being right handed, if you want to split hairs. Did you ever try to wipe week handed, you don’t because its different, nothing to do with ability but a trained, mussel memory, just like reloading, what if you had only known week handed? And you could free up your strong hand to do something usefull or creative or fun. All this said, for some week is better, may be not for the rest of you. Mell Kuhn
  18. I’m a newbe and had loaded strong hand, however when shown weak hand; it was far simpler, required less interchange and easer to do on the move. Its not a mater of dexterity, you must be open to alternatives, if you don’t apply your self your right, but its not lack of dexterity its just lack of application and practice. Mell
  19. Mr. Bigbrowndog trapr I know you’re just kidding, but frankly the lighting wasn’t all that good and you know the camera ads a least 10 pounds. The best of luck to guys in Greece I know you will make us proud. Give Mike45 a big wet hug for me, not for you, you give him your own. Longingly Mell PS will you be going Greek in Grease
  20. Team #13 The hip young guy carried some sort of smaller black gun with a cool aimer on top that they cussed at, and a nine in a holster. The very handsome distinguished man carried a pretty black and silver rifle gun and a gat also in a holster with bullets for them. They were laughing and cussed a lot and the very handsome one was not as fast as the groovy young guy. They had a wristwatch with secret codes that they yelled at each other. As observed by The shooting gallery
  21. Dear Garyo and Mr. Mudd Every time I pulled the trigger on my rifle it cost around one US dollar if I figure my time at $0.00 per man-hour. To load 250 rounds (starting with 400 fire formed pieces of brass) I spent over 10 hours. By the way I have two 1050’s, one 650 and one 550 press, of course these were all loaded on my garage sale Pacific single stage, I guess this is progress, one step forward and five back, go figure. Best winches Mell
  22. Truly a Great Match in all ways. And the fact that an old, fat, dyslectic, any monkey, who hydrates with beer and whiskey could keep up let alone compete; may indicate that this match was doable and allso a gas. Forever Mell
