I have Storm Lake barrels in my 17 and my 24. They dropped right in and I have shoot better groups at the range than I could with the stock barrels. You can get them for $100.00 through topglock.com. They are great barrels at a great price. I have also heard good things about KKM. I just bought a used KKM for my 35 to see how it compares to the Storm Lake barrel.

I just picked up a Glock 35 that has Heinie sights. I like the rear sight and I just replaced the front with a fiber optic dawson and it gives a great sight picture. Now I am gonna put the same combo on my 24.

A slide from Caspian, when they had them, ran about $260.00. That is for the slide with no guts or barrel or sights. If that is a complete upper with barrel and sights for $300.00 then it is a heck of a deal.

That sounds like a good deal. I would pick it up and sell the ported barrel and replace it with a regular barrel and build a nice Limited gum with that 6 inch Caspian slide. I had a friend of mine build me a 24 with a Caspian slide and it shoots very nice and flat.

I have a Storm Lake barrel in my 17 and 24 and I am very happy with both of them. Accurate and very well made. I have been to their plant in TN and they have a nice operation set up. They nake barrels for Wilson and they also make the barrels for the Sig GSR. You can get them at TopGlock.com for $98.00 bucks. That is a lot of barrel for the money. The chamber was also tight in my 24 but once I found the right round I did not have any more jambs.

chp5 - I bought your 35 from you back in December. Actually my wife did. That was a sweet Christmas present. I really like the G35 but I do shoot better with my 17 than I do with the 35. So that got me thinking that maybe I would shoot a 22 better since some people shoot better with shorter barrels. What kind of mods did you make on your 22 that you shoot in limited?

Go with the 35. I picked up a used one in December and I can't say enough good things about it. They make for great Limited/Limited 10 pistols. I don't know about carrying one though. My carry gun is a 17.

I also got an email from KKM and I responded that we need them to make slides ASAP. Hopefully more people have sent emails to the same effect. I need a stainless G22 slide bad.

I agree with John. I have also spoken to Adam at Storm Lake and informed him that we need another company besides Caspian that can make race worthy Glock slides. Adam at Storm Lake can be reached at 865-988-8933. I have Storm Lake barrels in all of my Glocks. They make a great product at a great price. KKM would also be another good option because they make quality products as well. Lets make some calls and see if we can make something happen.
