  1. Considering Travis Tomasie and Gabby Franco are now wearing Remington shirts and still in the shooting sports I'd imagine that the double stack models will still be made.
  2. Pretty sure the Pro-Comp is single stack. The Pro Comp also doesn't have a magwell.
  3. I registered online Dec 7th and I think mailed it that same day. Got confirmation they received it on Jan 1st. Just checked last week and it said mine had been mailed out and I should receive it by Feb 19th. Nothing yet, guess they used the tortoise instead of the hare. When you registered online did you get an email that said it was successful?
  4. Just saw a post in the Para section of 1911forum from EGW. They talked to Para at Shot and were told they expected to have service up and running within two weeks. Not sure how that will apply to those of us waiting on mags for the Pro Custom guns. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=478783&page=4
  5. I wear the Merrell Reflex shoes pretty much all day. I had plantar fasciitis about 3 years ago and tried them for some help with that. Awesome shoe with plenty of cushion and plenty of rubber on the bottom. I bought a pair of Speedcross 3's because I was looking for something lighter. They are very light compared to the Merrell's. They also provide great cushion and for me even more stability. They do wear very quickly though. I wore two of the rubber nubs almost completely off on the outside front of the shoe in about two months. So I stopped wearing them daily, but for just trail running they should be ok. I think they'll still wear pretty quick. As someone suggested above, maybe try a different model of Salomon. The difficult part for me in choosing them was that no-one carries them locally.
  6. Yikes, just looked at the admission and parking fees as I wanted to go watch one day. It's about 2 hours away from me. I'm not a USPSA member and was expecting to see something for single day passes. The $25 admission doesn't really bother me too much but with $50 parking I'm not paying $75 to watch for one day.
